I was just wondering what price people have gotten for All Star resorts this summer. I got a price of 83 a night in July using DC. Is that the best I can get ?

that is a pretty good rate, unless you have an AP which usually beats the DC rate

We've stayed at the Movie twice now, and really like this resort!!! The theming is SO Disney! My 5 yr old thinks its a great hotel - and she especially liked the "102 Dalmations"!
In Nov/Dec, 2000, we paid $82/nite including tax. In Nov/Dec, 2001, we got it for $49/night!!!!
(LOVED that rate!)
We're booked right now in Oct for $110/nite (hoping for a discount), but we may change and go in Dec again - my husband and I love the Candlelight Processional at Epcot!

I made ressies last week at ASMo and got $70 per nite in Nov. Your $83 quote includes an insurance clause in case of cancellation (which is what they tried to automatically include for me). When i told them i didn't want this, it came down to $69 something. I would go ahead and book the room, if a better rate comes, i was told i could call back for the better deal.

P.S. Don't always trust the reservationist, the first one i called told me Toy Story was a preferred building (even after she put me on hold to double check!). She told me it would be an extra $10. I told her no thanks, and called back and got somebody else. The only preferred buiding is Fantasmic! I knew that, thanks to these boards!
