how do I send a welcome gift?

My sister and her husband will be staying at the Swan for a few days without the kids. I would like to send them a nice bottle of wine or a nice gift basket. Anyone know who I would contact at Disney? Also, wanted to send a welcome home gift to some family I got ressies at Wilderness Lodge Villas. Any ideas who to contact for this one? Thanks, Jeanne

I'm pretty sure you can arrange a gift directly with the S/D. You might want to check their website. The WDW Florist can also help. I like Cindy at pixiegifts.com, but she starts at $75, which may be more than you want to spend.

I just got home yesterday from the Poly, and while we were there, a woman who works for my husband was also there with her family. She had just gotten a great promotion at work, so we called the Poly's concierge desk and asked them to send a bottle of champagne to her room. They charged it to our room, and the champagne was in her room that day with a congragulatory note from us. I was very happy with how easy it was.

I recommend the WDW Florist. THey have a nice assortment of items with a wide variety of prices... something to suit every budget!

Do you know the number of the florist? Will they deliver to the All Stars or just the deluxes? My mom is taking my DS for a short trip in June. It would be nice to send something to say thanks.:D

They'll deliver to anyone who will pay them! I'm not sure of the number, but I think that I found it on the boards somewhere last year. I'm sure that you could call 407-WDisney to get it, also!

The number is 407-827-3505. They deliver to all the resorts. They were also very patient about explaining all the options, and all the items in a gift basket,etc.
