View Full Version : Bayou Pirate Adventure Cruise ?

Hi All,
Its my sons 6th birthday in August so Ive booked him on the Bayou Pirate Adventure Cruise,sailing from P.O.Riverside . Anybodys child done this?Do they wear safety jackets?Im a bit nervous,but I know it will be such a great birthday surprise for him!!

yes they all have to wear life jackets at all times.
They roast in the heat...!

My son loved it.. it was his favorite of the three pirate cruises...

My 7 year old son went on the one at the Caribbean Beach Resort last December which I am sure will be the same as the other ones. I was very nervous and the day before my son said he didn't want to go which I was ok with. The next day he said he would go along just to see what it was like. As son as he saw the 2 guys dressed as pirates he was off. I literally had to run after him to give him a kiss! He had a fantastic time. They wear life jackets and are very well look after. The organisers don't stand for any bad behaviour and make it clear that the kids will be brought back to their parents if they are naughty. We stayed outside the food court the whole time and were able to see the boat which made me happy. I am going to book him on a couple of different ones this December.

Not sure this is the same thing as the pirates cruises... my son has done all three from the Y&B club, the GF and also POR and they get taken off on a magical mystery tour for 2 hours.. and you definitely cant see the boat once it has left. They travel usually to four different locations searching for Treasure...
