Non Smoking rooms at Portofino Bay?

I have not stayed in a hotel that allowed smoking in many years, so I am wondering, are the smoking rooms all together in a section away from the non smoking rooms? or could there be smoking and non smoking rooms side by side?
No offense to the smokers, but I just can't tolerate the smell of smoke.
Outdoors it doesn't bother me, its just inside I have trouble.

Not sure where the smoking rooms are at PB but if you tell them you need to be away from them they will accomedate you. We have stayed numerous times at PB and our son has SEVERE allergies- he can not be anywhere near the smell of smoke. We have never had a problem at PB. At other resorts we have had to cut our trip short because of this issue but no problem at PB.

I just came back from reno and the floor I was on was no smoking, I wish the smoking hotels would do this, the smoke bothers me too:scared1:

I smoke.Everytime we book @ US I prefer a non-smoking room.If I'm gonna do a nasty habit,nobody else should suffer for it.If I need A cigg I can always go outside:thumbsup2 Yes I do care about other people!
