I had emailed Member Services to make my Proiprity Dining reservations just as I have every year and the Representative took 4 days to email me back that "They are Sorry but can no longer make Dining Reservations via E-mail"" Does anyone know the whole story to this??
Thanks

This was discussed not too long ago on this board - also I think there was a write-up in the vacation magic (before the most recent one).
They (DVC) claim that because the dining dialog may require choosing alternate times, that email is no longer appropriate for PS's and that they would prefer that you use the 800 number.
We did our PS's via MS for our trip last December, and had no problems - but then I usually specified a range for the time period, like table for 8 at such-and-such on the 23rd, anytime between 11:30 and 2pm, but the earlier the better.

Mickey is right, the following quote is from the FAQ's on the Member's Site:
"Are there some requests that should not be sent by fax or email?
Yes, there are. Fax and email transactions are not suited for:
Member Getaways options, such as exchanges, cruises, safaris, etc., which require you to have more of a dialogue with Member Services
Priority seating requests for Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort dinner shows, which may necessitate several alternative choices
Airline and car rental reservations
Credit card transactions"
Sorry, I remember this rule going into effect, but not when.
