Cash On The Wonder?

Is it true that you can't use any cash on the Wonder? It will be myself my 4 children, my mother, sister and my daughters boyfriend. Do I have to put all their charges under my account? If so that is gonna be a nightmare! I am the only one in the group that has a credit card. Thanks for all your help! Stacey

You can't use cash for day-to-day purchases, but you can use cash to pay your stateroom account. I think that it has to be secured by a credit card, but you pay cash at the guest services desk rather than putting it all on one card. All the shipboard purchases are charged to your stateroom account(s), I think that you can have more than one for each stateroom.

The only thing for which you need cash on the ship would be tips for room service.

Two other things you need cash for...

* postage stamps at the Bahamas Post Office on Castaway Cay.

* duty if you exceed your Customs allowance.

I think that you can get a printout and pay cash at the end of each day if that will be easier. Good luck.

I like the idea of paying with cash at the end of each day. I think that would be the best way to go. I was just dying thinking that everyones charges were gonna be on my credit card! Thanks everyone for all your help! Stacey

It might help you to know that everyone's charges will be listed separately. You will each get a KTTW card and each person will use that card to make their purchases. At the end of the cruise your statement will reflect each card purchases separately. You can then have it all put on your CC and they can pay you or they can pay their own separately. This eased my mind a bit when we cruised. It was much easier knowing that I didn't have to figure out who'se was what! Also, keeps the kids straight on how much of their spending money they spent!
