We are trying to simplify at home-declutter and all, and I realized how many old vacation planners we have. I just love the pictures and information in them, but I realized that it's time to unload the outdated ones. It's funny, I still had the hard cover book and original notes from our very first tour back in 98. Does anyone else find getting rid of these difficult or are you all collecting them with the hopes that someday your great grandchildren will be on Antiques Roadshow with the old DCV documentation?

I wait with giddy anticipation as the new ones wait to arrive. I look through them frequently and I would never think of disposing of them. I have each and every one since I joined. I loved this current one with the mylar pages seperating the sections.:)

We only keep our original hard cover one. We tend to give or loan our last year copy to prospective buyer friends and/or co-workers. Just trying to spread the magic. :)

I decluttered paperwork this year and a lot of the DVC stuff was tossed out. I don't keep any old planners, and I got rid of a lot of the paperwork, too. I didn't need multiple copies of a lot of the stuff I got with each of my four individual contracts. I started a thread listing what I had and asking what people thought I should keep, and got some good advice (of course I can't remember any of it now!!) I know my DVC file was trimmed WAY down.
I just don't keep a lot of paper anymore. I don't keep bank statements after three months, I've never saved old bills, etc and I really went through and decluttered school papers, etc. I can keep everything I really need in a two drawer file cabinet or in my safe deposit box.
It is VERY liberating to be out from under all of that paper!!!!

I've got a couple of bookshelves full of Disney books and stuff. I believe at least the last two planners are up there, but I never use them. Next time someone asks me about DVC I'll probably take a hint from DisDaydreamer and give them one of the planners.

I have gotten rid of a few of the older ones that don't have all of the resorts in them. I have a space for DVC things and if the space gets too crowded, I am determined not to expand, but to toss!

I keep everything Disney. I still have every single paper and such from our disneymoon back in 96.
I love to look at them with my kids.
