We are using points to stay at GC in June for a couple of nights. Do we (DVC members) get any perks there and if so, what are they?
TIA:goodvibes

Yes!
Be sure to pick up a portable perks booklet. If they don't have it at the check-in desk, go to any DVC kiosk and get one.
Unless it has changed since we were there last summer, you will get a discount at virtually every table service AND counter service restaurant in both parks, all 3 hotels, and DTD. Take the booklet with you in case you need to show it to the waiter. When we were there, the discounts were very new, and not every restaurant was even aware of it. But we had no problems once we showed them the booklet. Hopefully that has changed by now.

Great info. We'll also be there for 3 days in June. I'll have to make sure I pick up the perks guide. Do you know if the AAA discounts on dining are more or less than DVC? Do you have to book a vacation thru AAA to get the discount on dining?

We were there for 3 nights last week. We were checked in by someone who was "earning his ears" and asked "what's that" when the trainer put two Portable Perks in our package of information. They don't quite seem to have the DVC mentality down yet, but they were gracious when we asked. We received a discount at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD, the Blue Bayou, and River Belle Terrace. But in each place they insisted that you had your blue DVC Member card. It's a wonderful hotel. Have a great time.

Wonder if they are ramping up the discounts because they are opening the Villas at the Grand Californian soon?

Do DVC members get free valet parking at GC like at other DVC resorts?

As of last month when I did it, no, you still had to pay for it.

We just got back on Sunday, and used our DVC discount everywhere we ate (when I remembered). I showed my blue card only and everyone I encountered knew exactly what to do (I had my Portable Perks the first couple days in case, but never needed it) The discounts were 10% everywhere we used it, which was the same discount as AAA had at Ariel's Grotto.
