Booking Dates, Borrowing Points, Use Year = Help!

Can someone please help me.
I want to try and book a 2 bdrm at AKV for Jan 2009. SSR is our home resort.
My use year is October.
I have 0 points left in my 2007 use year.
I have 98 points in my 2008 use year and 150 points in 2009.
The AKV villa is 196 points.
I can book AKV next month for a January trip.
Obviously I need to borrow from 2009 into 2008 Use Year 98 points.

What I don't know is, do I have to wait until October 2008 to book AKV because I want to borrow from 2009? :confused3

No, all points use is based on date of stay. Points don't "deposit" when your use year starts, they are already in your account. You can make the reservation at the window.

You will have access to 248 points for that ressie, 102 of which will have to be borrowed from your '09 use year.
