Going on the May 18 7-day Eastern cruise. What exactly are the times you are in each port?
Also, Tropical night -- I know it's up on the deck but when does it start? Is it adults only or are kids allowed or do they have their own party?
Thanks in advance.

The port times are, roughly:
St. Maarten: Arrive 7:00am, Depart 7:30pm
St. Thomas: Arrive 6:30am, Depart 4:45pm
Castaway Cay: Arrive 9:00am, Depart 5:00pm
In my experience, you usually get to Castaway Cay prior to 9:00am. The time you can actually debark in St. Thomas may vary based on when the immigration check is completed. I think you should be able to leave the ship by 8:00-8:30am.
The tropical party is on Tuesday night. I think it starts at 9:00pm or so. As I recall, it is open to everyone.

I thought that we would be in St. Maarten until into the evening? I thought I read somewhere that we were there until midnight?
Can anyone clear up?

The itinerary used to include an 11:00pm departure from St. Maarten. It was shortened to 7:30 sometime last fall. I'm not sure why. My guess is that it is a combination money-saving change, along with a way to get into St. Thomas a bit earlier due to the early-morning immigration check. That's just my opinion. I wrote to DCL upon finding out about this change, as when we booked the trip, we were scheduled for the later departure. The response I received was evidently a form letter noting that port arrival and departure times were subject to change due to tides, weather conditions, etc., etc., etc.

I believe the ship is in St Maarten until 10pm now. This is a fairly recent change.
