I was cleaning out a closet and found 22 1000mL pump sets from when my daughter was on a pump. They're from 2002, I believe, so I don't know if I should simply discard them. What are your thoughts?

Check the expiration date.

There isn't one. If there is and I might be missing it, it might be helpful if I knew where to look for it. There is nothing on the front of the package nor the back. I've moved the bag around from outside the package and I cannot see one on the inside.
I guess if I'd been able to find one I would have answered my own question.

There are also adults who could use a pump, esp. someone who has no insurance. Often people only think of children, but most special needs children have coverage and get the equipment they need whereas many adults do not. Whenever I have leftover supplies, either the cans of supplement or DME equipment, I try and pass it on to VISTE or MDA's loan closet. They're easy to find in the phone book. Definitely don't just toss out the equipment w/o trying to find it a second life- you might be doing someone a really big favor.---Kathy
