Help w/ resort rate?

Can someone help me w/ rate info? Just wondering what I might expect to pay for a value resort for one night (May 4)? We need a place to stay the day we arrive.
I was also thinking of just paying the extra money and staying at a Monorail resort. What can I expect to pay for this also? I am a DC member and have an American Express too.

You can go to disney's site and check current rates for that night - www.disneyworld.com

Then come back and look here at the DIS or at www.mousesavers.com for what discounts are available for that time.

here's some ball park figures for you (per night):

value: $99
moderate: $154
deluxe: starting at $229
- Contemporary (cheepest deluxe monorail): $254

If you just need a room - go with value/All-Star resort.

If you are looking for just one night, I'd save the $$ and stay at one of the values.

I know the codes just ended w/ recent deals. Does that mean I've missed the better rates or can I still catch a special? I checked on Mousesavers and unless I overlooked it, I didn't find any deals. Has anyone booked lately for early May and got a good rate?
