Anyone gotten their Free dining Credit yet?

Just Curious my trip was paid nd I added free dining on the day it became available to the General Public and I'm still waiting for my credit! Anyone else waiting?? Or did anyone get theres yet? :confused:

Mine is noted on my reservation. I ask for a copy to be mailed to me. I did'nt get a credit.

Several years ago I had the same problem and didn't get a credit until 3 weeks before my vacation. Since then, I now make Disney wait for thier money until final payment is due.

Well I called Disney to find out where my credit was because after recieving the credit when adding Free dining we decided to do the waterparks option so I added that and have a balance I wanted to find out if they could just use the credit to lower my balance they came back and said it was credited to this card number back in april it was the debit card I used to make the original deposit and only used it for that deposit and shortly after closed that account so now I have to contact that bank on Tuesday to find out if they did in deed recieve this credit? Because they never notified me or anything! Oh Boy! This should be fun! :mad: I used two other credit cards recently to make payments and they used the one i only used once for the original payment to add my credit to how's that work?:(. Mine was also noted on my reservation like you all are saying andf this is what they did so if you used more than one form of credit card to pay you may want to look into it!

What is this about credit for free dining? The way it works is you purchase a package that includes free dining. Why would you expect a credit? It is a certain price for each person - you don't get anything back just because you have booked free dining.

I think it's for people who booked and paid for DDP before free dining came out. When free dining came out, they switched their ressies to free dining thus the credit.

I got a credit because I had to switch from a preferred room to a standard room.

The credit came through on my card last month, no problems.

Yes! As I said in the original post I called and added Free Dining when it became available but I guess I forgot to say that I had already purchased the dining option in my original booking and my package was paid for thus why I got a credit when I added free dining. This is the only way unless like another poster stated they had a preferred room but no preferred were avail when they added free dining so they went with standard to get free dining and they would get a credit for the diff in price from preferred to standard.

OK! So here it goes my card was credited back on april 10th when I added free dining but the card that gets credited is the card that the original deposit was made on and that card was a debit to account that I closed in January so after an hour of back n forth on the phone with the bank where the account was I finally got it all worked out and have my credit! Disney says it's the law that any credits have to go back to the original card made for the first deposit! So if you're waiting for a credit this could be the case with you if youre seeing it's credit on youre invoice but never physically recieved it yet! I had to do alot of leg work to figure this out CM in Disney Guest services was a Great Help! His name is Clay! Had one originally named Joel he wasn't much help and didn't seem to have near as much knowledge as Clay! If it wasn't for him I'd probably still be trying to figure it out! :)
