We were there for the start of YOMD in October 2006 and my DD (6) was Epcot Princess of the Day, got 2 autographed pictures of her favorite princesses, a wishes certificate, AND got to open Epcot dressed in a tiara, wand, and sash! I have a disability that makes life difficult, so the dream for me was taking her to the park by myself with plenty of energy. It was the perfect way to start our "girls' day." princess: We went back in Dec. 2006 and she was "Chef of the Day" at the Tavern in MK. They gave her a hat and a HUGE chocolate chip cookie with ice cream flavors, jams, the works to decorate and eat!
We are going back in Nov. this year for the end of YOMD. Taking my dad who turns 60 and loves Disney. We're trying to make his dream of staying at AKV come true! LOVE YOMD! It's been great!:wizard: Hope your wish comes true!
