The pin people at Disney!

The registration and catalog information for Pin Trading University is out.

They are intentionally cruel to Figment fans!

There are no Figment pins that can be bought by themselves.

There are four major categories of pins. Each category has ten regular size pins, a jumbo pin, a sculpt, and a framed set.

The sculpts are all of Figment in different poses, each with a pin. Each are LE 100 and $45 each. The price is not too bad but the edition size too low.

The framed sets have the logo pin, the ten regular pins and a "completer" pin of Figment. Each of these sets is LE 50 and costs $250.

There is a Super Jumbo pin that includes Figment as one of 11 characters, is a LE 300 and costs $110.

There is a special framed set of four "our best student" pins. One of these is a Figment and this is a LE 200 that costs $150.

BTW, Registration is $115 but if you register by June 7 you get an additional pin as well as a $15 discount on registration.

Actually I am not going to kill them, but am going to let them know they are making our lives difficult. And could probably have made the LE 100 sculpts with pin as LE 250 and still sold all and made a lot more money.

Anyway, if I killed them off there would be too much paperwork involved to be worthwhile.

O_o. Just saying, but is a person's life really worth a Figment pin?... (And I'm pretty sure that I saw one with just Figment on it a few years ago... 2003 I think... at Mouse Gear in EPCOT) ;)

Cheshire Figment, daber - I feel the pain too. I seriously doubt I'll find a way to get all the Figment items this year and I'm a bit peeved. I feel like Disney is capitalizing on the character by trapping him as a completer in expensive frame sets and low LE sculpts. Figment was a bad enough hit on my wallet at last year's event and that was without resorting to ebay - I don't even want to think about having to go that route this year. Best of luck getting what you want to all the other Figment fans out there!
