So I posted this on the normal PTR board and then located the UK TR board so decided to recipricate my PTR here as well... I'm a lurker on the UK boards normally (I have no idea why!) so I'm breaking the mould to post this!

Forgive the amount of posts and the most likely back dating of them, I'm literally going to copy and paste them from the other board!! hahaha :rotfl:

Feel free to leave comments and such. Be nice to hear a UK-ers ideas!!!

So I guess I had better introduce my family...
:tigger: This is me, I'm Laura, love anything Disney and I'm more or less known for it by all my friends. I'm always going on about Disney to my parents, especially now we're so so close (2 months and counting!) although I think my family are starting to get sick of it. Otherwise I'm in my last year of school and I'm off to university next year which is slightly scary but also very exciting!

:bounce: This is my dad, he's pretty much in love with his job (I did work experience with him, I fell asleep I was so bored, but I guess whatever makes him happy!) I reckon he's quite excited about Disney, he likes to pretend he's not but I know he is! He doesn't mind listening to me go on and on about planning but won't do anything to help me!

:Pinkbounc This is my mum, she likes Disney to an extent but doesn't see why I get so excited before the trip, she's more the one for turning up and taking it as it comes, I know she's looking forward to it, but she isn't showing it right now!

:donald: And finally this is my younger brother, he's at that age where liking Disney isn't cool, but I know he likes it really. He pretends not to get excited when I daily tell him how many days we have left until we go to WDW, or what new rides they've put in since we last went and such, but I know he's excited, I can see it in his eyes!

Right so that's my family, I'll fill you in on the background. We first went to WDW in April 2001 and then again in 2003, we haven't really had the time since then, what with the numerous exams to revise for and take and the fact that living in England makes it so so so much harder to go to WDW. We visit Paris regularly though so I get my Disney fix... think I'd go insane without it! :goodvibes

We were given the choice to go on holiday anywhere we wanted this year, so obviously, and naturally, we chose WDW... how could we not! See it's most likely going to be our last family holiday in a way because, as I've already said, I'm going to uni next year so most of my summers and holidays will be spent working and what not!

Right that's all the boring stuff over and done with, now on to the goodies!

We booked the trip last september (maybe?!) and I've been excited ever since! We're staying offsite, as always, I'm kind of gutted because I would love to stay onsite but Dad says that he didnt want to be around Disney 24/7, I think he's mad, so we are staying offsite. We stay on site at DLP so I guess I can't complain too much. My calender on my wall, of course Disney, well Winnie the Pooh to be exact, has all the days until Disney on it counting down, and at the moment I'm on 72, so although it seems like a long way off for me this is so so exciting, I've missed the magic so much!

Don't get me wrong DLP is amazing, but it just doesnt have that same magic that WDW has, (I think it might be something to do with all the French and European's and the fact I can't understand a word they're saying!) It's just not the same when you have no idea what's going on around you and you can't share in the magic that's been created by the other families, and for me that is all part of the experience... like when you see the joy on a little kid's face when he runs up to Mickey for the first time, or when someone views the castle for the first time. It's just magic. Disney magic. pixiedust:
Don't worry I'm not the soppy type. Just partial to a little emotion, every now and again, especially when Disney is involved!

Anyways... so we booked Disney. I was more than excited of course, although as mum reminded me I have my A Levels the month before, the ones that will decide whether or not I get into uni so they're my big hurdle beforehand, but Disney is my reward for all the effort I will/am putting in to passing these which makes Disney even more excitable! Even my 18th is before Disney and I'm still more excited about Disney, I would say it's mad. But it's me!

Right so there's the background... 5 years of WDW longing all crammed into one family, a daughters who's too over excited for her own good, mum's words not mine, and a family who are pretending not to be as excited as they are...
Will I ever convince them that being excited is good? Will my brother finally give in to me and dance around the house to Disney songs in a slightly hyper, if not a little scary, joy? Stay tuned and all will be revealed!!!

Things kind of quietened down between September and January (until I was bave enough to explore the other DISboards and not just the VMK one!). I began looking at pictures and memories, and of course the trip reports, that everyone had left, and bingo, just like that I was excited again! As if by magic, Disney magic, my mum got her guide to WDW and Florida that she has ordered from Amazon so I promptly picked it up and began to read, the whole way through. Needless to say my mum didn’t see it very much at all for the next week, I made copious notes and sticky noted everything, my mum still thinks I'm weird but I don't care. I'm excited, and that's perfectly fine with me!

We went shopping for clothes couple of months back, so as we didn’t have to do it when I was in the middle of my exams and so it wouldn’t interfere with my revision. (I’m actually starting to really panic about my exams now; they’re just over a three away and the mean so much!) I studied American politics this year and its comparison to British politics so with the election going on it hasn’t been too hard to revise that subject, plus it’s meant that America is constantly in my head, which has meant that my thoughts are constantly tripping back to WDW which in a way is good but really isn’t when I should be revising! Still any reminder is a good reminder. Especially when shopping is involved.

We hit the biggest shopping centre we have near us, it’s a bit manic sometimes but if you go at the right time you get to all the shops, bit like Disney and the rides! Why does everything come back to Disney, I swear this isn’t good for me! :rotfl: So I think I did ok with my buys… I bought these shoes to wear around Disney, the first pair are my shoes that I will literally live in because they are so comfortable and the other pair I’m planning on wearing out and in the evenings… (sorry the pictures are a bit large!)

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/IMGP3980.jpg

I bought these amazing shorts, I love the lime green pair, reckon I’ll stick out like a sore thumb but that’s never a bad thing, plus lime green is the Dis colour ;)

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/IMGP3977.jpg

This skirt was a bargain and was possibly my favourite buy, it’s so comfortable and really thin so I wont be too hot in the July heat… maybe this is a good time to confess I’ve never actually been to WDW in June/July (we’re going end of June to mid way through July) but as Dis has kept me fairly up to date with what to expect so all is good :thumbsup2

Time for the next instalment… exciting stuff today, OUR DISNEY TICKETS CAME!
I jumped up and down so much when I saw them! In short it means that 1. My dad has got off his backside and ordered them and 2. Our trip is getting so much closer; we’re so close to the 2 month mark!!
They arrived in this cute little package thing, handy so we can have all the tickets together in one place (most likely my dad’s pocket!), but also just cute to know that the thing I have been waiting practically a year for is contained in that little pouch… well theoretically it’s not WDW itself but it is none the less my key to get into WDW so therefore it is! (made sense in my head!)
This is where the magic starts…

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets002.jpg

Amazing isn’t it!! I love it! These are the tickets in their full glory, each with a different picture and phrase on them, I swear Disney must have handpicked these, they represent my family so well...

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets005.jpg

Sorry some of these pictures are so blurred, my camera was having an off day, and now mum has put them somewhere 'safe' which I can't locate to save my life so I can't take new pictures!!!

This is mine princess::
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets007.jpg
All of the tickets say Walt Disney World then have a phrase underneath... mine says "where glass slippers always fit"

My brothers:
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets008.jpg
"where everyone screams a the sight of a mouse"

My mum (who loves the 7 dwarfs so much!):
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets009.jpg
"Where everyone is happy no matter what their name is"

My Dad's:
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets010.jpg
"where dreams come true"

They brought a tear to my eye, so like our characters, I think I just became 4 again! (I've always been that age really!!)

We also ordered flexitickets for Universal, IOA, Seaworld, Busch and Aquatica (which I must say I'm quite excited to try out!) They're a quite nice orange colour but nowhere near as nice, and as personalised, as the Disney ones. Still Disney has the magic, some how the others just dont!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets011.jpg

Ooooh almost forgot, they can with this amazing little booklet, which includes all the park maps and information on busiet days, new rides, food and parades etc, which is amazing for someone like me who is completely planning obsessed!! I've already read it through about five times!!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/DisneyTickets012.jpg

off to bed now... (it's 01:12 right now!) I've been revising all day, it's sucked muchly because we've actually had sun and heat, and that is such a novelty at the moment so I should be lapping it up, but instead I had to stay inside laiden in books, subtley disney themed though I must say... challenge, spot the number of disney items!...
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/IMGP3975.jpg

however I did get given an Ice Bun (the icing melted!!) from Sainsburys by my mum though so all is good! :cloud9:

I promised I was going to talk about my hotel, seeing as it's off site, so here I go, I've never been here so a lot of this is going to be assuming and borrowing pictures from the website!

Ok so the hotel is called the LBV Resort and Spa, and quite frankly it looks pretty cool. It's just been built so it'll be all new and such and it looks quite exciting! According to the website we're on the Antigua floor, we're getting a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 'condominium suite' (I don't even understand what that means!!) but all I know is that we're getting a kitchen (as if we'll even use it!), a plasma TV, a private balcony (ooooh, fingers crossed it's facing towards disney!) and wait for it.... drum roll...... a whirl pool spa! I'm so looking forward to that, so so good to unwind at the end of a day missioning it around, mum and I have already said we'll be spending ALOT of time in there after we come home! (dad and my brother aren't too keen but then we told them about the plasma TV, suddenly they weren't too bothered!) It has a spa too, so hopefully if it's not too expensive that's another thing mum and I will be hitting :)
This is the outside... It's sooo tall! :scared1: I hope I dont fall off!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Resort-Exterior.jpg

So this is indoors, looks cool, doesnt have that Disney feeling to it, but then it's not a disney hotel so i guess it wont, still we'll only be sleeping so it'll do!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/resortindoors2.jpg

This is apparently my parents bed, my brother and I get 2 single beds :( (I was hoping for 2 double beds but no such luck!) still looks comfy!!!
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/reortbed.jpg

The LBV factory stores are literally right behind the hotel too, so lots and lots of shopping, especially seeing as I can get £1 to $2 at the moment, so everything will be more or less half price! WOOHOO! I'm already planning all the things I want to buy, we always go there when we go to WDW so I know more or less what's sold! :goodvibes :yay:

So I think that's me for this 'episode'. It's never as good as I wanted it, but I figure not many people are reading it so it's all good really! If you are reading it let me know you are!!! :thanks:

So hey! My 18th was 2 fridays ago (9th) and now I'm a fully fledged adult, which is slightly scary!
I got some amazing disney themed things for my birthday, one of my favourites is sat beside me, my brother got it for me, it's a cute little Eeyore with a key which has 18 on it!
Here's a picture...
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Eeyore2.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Eeyore1.jpg

My best friend cross stitched me this amazing tinkerbell as well, I don't have a picture of it right now but I will be tomorrow hopefully! It's beautiful and nearly made me cry, she put so much effort into it!

I also got some really nice messages from people, not to mention from places I never expected...

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/facebookbirthday.jpg
hahaha. So impersonal yet so funny!

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/disbirthday.jpg
Thanks Dis!!! Always the place to rely on to deliver some pixie dust when you need it!

So I spent the whole of my birthday after school looking at WDW things and planning what we were gonna do whilst we were there and got myself very very excited!! We arrive on the 28th June, which is the last weekend to the starwars weekend which I'm very happy about because I've always wanted to go for this and now I get a chance (even if it is for the last day!) I also found out that there is an Eagles tribute band playing at Epcot on the sunday and my dad loves the Eagles so I'm guessing we're gonna go to that!! :rotfl:
So here's my preliminary plan:

Saturday: Arrive, after a 7 hour flight, and check in at hotel, unpack and go to Down Town Disney. Sleep!

Sunday: Star Wars weekend at DHS then Epcot in the evening

Monday: Epcot

Tuesday: A water park.. maybe BB

Wednesday: US

Thursday: AK (we plan to breakfast a Tusker House this day, if my dad gets round to ringing!)

Friday: MK (I've heard the 4th July is amazing at MK, and being British we really want to 'experience' the 4th July, but I'm thinking it'll be a very VERY early start!)

Saturday: HS

Sunday: AK

Monday: Water park.. maybe TL

Tuesday: Sea World

Wednesday: undecided... most likely MK but I'm not sure

Thursday: IoA

Friday: Last day :sad1: Pack and hit Epcot or maybe MK again. Board plane and go home :sad1:

That's only a very very rough plan and I'm pretty sure after the first few days we wont even stick to it. We're also going to Quest at some point during the 2 weeks because my brother and I love it but we're not sure when yet.

I think that's about all for today, I need to sleep now because I have school again tomorrow, but I finish for good on thursday so I'm excited about that!! Hopefully I'll update soon because I don't have any exams until June now so all is good!

Hi Laura - what a great pre trip report. Will be looking out for your trip report when you return. Happy belated 18th birthday!!!!! You made me smile - my daughter is an (academic) year older than you and loves Disney the way you do too - the thing that keeps her going is her trip to DLP with her DBF this year and her trip to SSR with me in 2009.

Best of luck with your exams - which uni do you hope to go to and what are you hoping to study?

ok so forgive me but this is the 2nd time I'm writing this! Stupid internet died!!!

Right so there's not much to tell at the moment, but I'm writing as promised! So I had a discussion with my dad the other day...

Me: Can I go to WDW for my birthday?
Dad: ummmm
Me: my 21st, I've always wanted to go for my birthday!
Dad: No you can't, you'll be doing your finals
Me: How about the year after, I'll be finished by then?
Dad: Well that is my 50th that year...
Me: So we can go then?
Dad: Well we'd have to stay for 3 weeks to fit both our birthdays in
Me: I reckon I can cope with that
Dad: I'll think about it. I'll think about it.

RESULT! haha. I have it in writing now, I can't believe I actually managed to implant the idea into his brain, I think I'm turning him! I've always always always wanted to go to WDW for my birthday, it's been one of those things that I've had on my list to do at WDW (that along with getting engaged/married at WDW but that's a LONG way off!!!) I won't let him forget this either! :rotfl:

As for my trip in just over a month I'm still going on to Dad about making these ADR's but I very much doubt it will happen! Looks like we're gonna have to take pot luck when we get there, and with it being in July I don't think we'll get anything!! :guilty:
I've been trying to plan more of the trip inbetween revising for/panicking about my exams, but I'm not getting too far, I used the itinery planner on the WDW UK site which made it easier to plan what we're gonna do but still it's a bit vaguge! We tend to be those people who just turn up to which ever ride we fancy at the time, so I guess we'll just do it that way!
Mum's started going on about packing though, so it means it must be getting close if she's talking about packing!! :goodvibes yay!!

Ooh whilst I remember I uploaded the photo's of the cross stitched tink that my friend made me. Sorry about the light and dark photos, I couldn't work out which was better!

Hi and welcome, look forward to reading more, happy planning:banana:
:welcome: Thankyou for your kind words :) Hopefully I'll write more soon but at the moment exams seems to be all I can think about!!!

I should never had read this report as it has cost me £50! But I'm now the proud owner of a new pair of Merrell sandals, I bought the tan (although I'd call them beige) version of your green ones this morning. I haven't taken them off yet they're so comfy.

:rotfl: Glad I could be of service! Those shoes are amazing I must say and I totally agree, so comfy, I definately think they'll be a good buy for around the park! My mum has them in the beige and she loves them too!

Great start, Happy Belated 18th Birthday:goodvibes

:welcome: and thankyou!!

Firstly I am so sorry I haven't posted in so so long, it's not intentional I just haven't had the time, I'm seriously stressing about my exams, they start on Monday and I really don't feel prepared at all. I'm psyching myself out for 3 quick weeks though, my exams always seem to fly by, which in some ways is really really good because it means that my trip to WDW will come so so quickly, but in other ways its so so bad because I won't have enough time to revise

Back to the PTR though, I got this through the post the other day...

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/PlanningDVD2.jpg

So exciting!! You can only order it when you're over 18 and seeing as I turned 18 earlier this month I ordered it. Infact if I'm entirely honest, and maybe a little bit sad, I ordered it on my birthday, just to sorta prove that I was indeed 18!!! :rotfl: Anyways it is so SO good! I've already watched it lots!! I watch it before I go to bed, it tends to relax me a little bit from the revision and lets me sleep, if I'm not too excited. It reminds me of that DLRP advert a while back... the 'I can't sleep I'm too excited!!' one, so unless the DVD gets me like that I tend to sleep quite well after watching it!! I'm guessing it's the same as the American version, but it annoys me stupid because it keeps giving the web addresses as .c-o.uk rather than .co.uk.... if you get me!! haha. never mind all is good.

Mum's started reading the WDW book now and she's been asking me all about it, I tried to introduce her to the DIS but she seemed a little aprehensive, I hope she does join, it's an amazing place! She didn't quite understand the concept of soarin' so I used the DIS to show her what people thought about it and the basic concept, she was suitably impressed! So there maybe hope! She's also written a list of everything that needs to be done before we go, like booking a taxi to take us to the airport in the morning, and to collect us afterwards, she's in the midst of sorting out all our documents to travel with and Dad's gonna fill in our Visa's tomorrow! It's so so close now, yay!

She's seriously talking about our next trip to the World as well, she's mentioning dates and actually talking about when we next go... not if. At the moment she's got her eyes set on the summer between my third year and my brothers first year (if he goes) at Uni. Which will be 2011, but I think she'll come down on that! She knows that's wayyyyy to far off! Still we're going back!! She's also promised me that if I get the grades we can go to New York for christmas this year, or if that fails go to DLRP again, but for Christmas day this time!! So so excited, but so so nevous, this is totally grade depending now, so more reason for me to revise and more reasons to make me panic!!! I did however make the revision slightly more bearable by listening to this whilst I was doing it... well that was until my ipod died, then it was back to silence again!

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Asia.jpghttp://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Monrail.jpghttp://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/hockeymadfairy/Forum/Fantasmic.jpg

I honestly have no idea what happened with the screen of my ipod, I'm guessing it's something that happens when you take pictures of screens, like the computer screen flickers if you film it! haha. Oh well, looks kinda cool!

So I think that's about all for my mini update... I do have more to say but I'm literally dying of no sleep!! I need to be awake for my last full day of revision before me exams!!

Thanks for the luck, I'm going to need it, I'vehad 2 exams already and I'm feeling the pressure!
The DVD is from the WDW UK site (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_GB/index), it's in the bottom menu I think. It took ages to come though, but once you get it it is so so worth it!!!

Not a lot to tell but a little bit of exciting news, Mum emailed our hotel today on the off chance that we could ask for a room that was on the top floor so we could see the WDW fireworks from the balcony. We didn't hold out much hope but today we get an email back saying that our request has been put on our form and that when we check in just over 3 weeks we should have a room on the top floor in the building we want!!! YAY! :cool1:

Mum's promised to ring and attempt to book some ADR's tomorrow as well, (better late than never I guess) think she finally gave up on Dad doing it! I think we're gonna go for Tusker house donald's breakfast and see if there is anything for Chef Mickey for dinner... we don't hold out any hope but they maybe able to squeeze us somewhere, we're only small!! Still I hope we get Tusker House!! If you can recommend any others that might have reservations (pref in the parks) please let me know, be good to consider all the options!!

Think that's it really, exams are in full swing at the moment and I hate them, still 2 weeks and they're over and 3 weeks and I go to WDW!!! yay!

It's getting so much closer now, we're going on a last minute shopping spree at Bluewater on friday to get the last bits and bobs and then after that we're gonna have to start packing... we've been told we can each take 2 suitcases weighing 23kg with us... which is A LOT! thats theoretically 8 suitcases each of 23kg :rotfl: That's a lot of shopping! :thumbsup2:

Mum's subscribed to TGM as well so she's going through that printing stuff off and making copious notes. We've decided on eating at the Rainforest Cafe, Sci-Fi Diner, Liberty Tree Tavern and maybe Chef Mickey's and we're gonna ring up tonight to see if we can get any of them (took us a while to decide where to eat!) so fingers crossed!!!

Only 2 weeks 4 days left!!!

Good luck in all your exams.

It must be so hard to concentrate on studying when you are just weeks away from WDW!!!

A tip I was told and I found worked wonders - eat a bar of chocolate before each exam, even if you arent hungry, as it will give your blood sugar levels a boost for a few hours and will help you concentrate

So we rang up WDW last night to see whether on the off chance they had any ADR's left for some of the places we wanted to go. We narrowed our choice down to 2 places we definately wanted to get ADR's for, the Sci-Fi Diner and Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House and the rest we were going to decide whether we wanted to go there or not on the day. We definately want to do the Rainforest Cafe in DTD and the Hard Rock Cafe in Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure though, but we're going to book them when we're there because we can't decide on a day yet!

So we rang up WDW and went through all the usual speil that they give you, we decided on 2 days, the 5th July for the Sci-Fi Diner and the 6th July for Tusker House breakfast... we got them both :cool1:  :yay: I was jumping around I was so happy, although they're a bit early, 4:55pm for the Sci Fi Diner and 8am (:scared1:) for the breakfast we figured that that suits us down to the ground. Mum's happy too because now I can stop bugging her to ring!!

I'm so excited now... just 6 more exams to go and I can finally devote all my attention to WDW!!!

HI Laura
Just wanted to say that I am loving your PTR - and good luck in your exams - my DD has just finished her AS level exams and will be in the same position as you this time next year. We have our last big family holiday planned to WDW and a Disney cruise in October this year before our eldest kids fly the nest (which is a concept I cannot quite accept as yet). You certainly sound very very excited :yay: (and I am glad I am not the only person to take photographs of her Disney tickets).

By the way, I really like the skirt you have bought - is that from Animal by any chance (it looks like their type of thing), and the sandals are also lovely. We have yet to go on our big pre-holiday shopping spree and fortunately the summer sales may just be the incentive. Happy planning!

Thanks for the luck, only 5 more to go then I'm free from school forever, I'm pretty sure you'll hear all about how amazingly great that is next year when your DD is in the same boat!!! Hope her exams went well this year, I'm guessing she's nearly back to school again now?!

I've always wanted to go on a cruise, unfortunately my mum gets quite sea sik so it's always been ruled out, sometime I will though! It's odd thinking I won't properly live at home as of September, but so exciting at the same time... I think my parents are the same as you though and can't quite believe it's this soon! :rotfl:

Yup skirt is from Animal, I got it in their factory outlet so it was much much cheaper as well so that's always a bonus! I'm jealous that you get to shop in the summer sales for your holiday, gives you the excuse to buys lots!!! :thumbsup2

Hey Dis!!
Only 5 days to go :yay: I'm getting so excited!
I've finished all my exams now and it's such a relief to know that they're over and done with and I don't have to worry about all the revision now, but I honestly now have no idea what to do with all my free time, and I'm trying to keep myself occupied before the results come out so they don't play on my mind too much!!

That being said I've think I've spent more time on the boards in 1 day then I did then entire 2 months I was caught up in exams, it's such a novelty that I'm still getting used to! Mum and I looked at everything again yesterday, all of TGM's options, most of the Dis topics on various things and looked up what we need for the hotel etc, was such good fun! We're getting proper excited now, I don't think I've ever seen mum this excited!, and dad and my brother are still non fussed, although they have their moments!

We've started packing as well, (when I work out how to put all my photos on to my laptop from my NEW camera :) then I'll post a picture of our hilarious piles of clothes, toiletries and goodness know's what else that have formed around the house!), mum's panicking slightly as she doesn't think she'll have enough time to do it all, I'm sure we will but it will be a close call!

Oooh I've just realised the time, I need to dash otherwise I'll miss my bus to take me to work! I promise I'll update with pictures later and I'll give you the proper low down on our progress!! :thumbsup2

Grr my laptop really doesnt like me this is the second time it's made me write a whole big comment twice! I'll attempt to remember as best as I can!

So I finally worked out how to put the photos from my camera on to the computer, it took me ages, where as before all I used to do was put the memory card into a slot in my laptop because I now have a new XD card it means it doesn't fit so I have to do it via cable which takes forever and has so many questions attached to it. Still I managed it and thought that I would show you the random 'organised' piles of clothes and various other things we're taking to WDW which keep springing up in the dining room in preperation to be packed on thursday when we have a whole day dedicated to packing and what not!

random clothes:

there's more piles like that everywhere, I don't know how we're gonna fit it in the suitcases!! :rotfl: Still it's all good! :) I'm getting so so excited I think my friends have caught on as well they keep asking me how long I have and what I plan to do, my best friends, who have never been to any Disney before, are even willing to go to DLP with me next year, I'm definately looking forward to that!

It's my leavers ball tonight and I'm in the midst of getting ready right now, my dress is hung up next to me and I've just painted my nails, we've hired a big red London bus to go to the ball in, there's 70 of us in total and I'm really looking forward to it, I'll be sure to post pictures tomorrow or thursday!

I think that's it for now, I need to keep getting ready, my hair is half done and my make up isn't even started! I have an hour and a half though so I think I'll be ok!! :rotfl:

My leavers ball on Tuesday was fantastic, I had an amazing time, it was such a fantastic way to finish off the year and indeed my entire time at school :) The food was interesting, but being a fussy eater I expected it to be! My friends loved it though! Everyone looked so beautiful, it was really like a room full of princesses and princes, very disney-ish!! I felt like a bit of a princess I have to say, though you wouldn't catch me wearing my dress around WDW I love it wayyy too much :)

on a slightly hyper note.... I LEAVE TOMORROW!!!! :yay: :cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :goodvibes

I am so so excited, doesn't feel real though, I've been waiting a year for this, can't believe it's almost here!! I fly out from Gatwick at 11ish I think but we've booked the taxi for 7:15 :scared1: we've already checked in online, and we're totally packed so it'll be shopping shopping and more shopping I think. My brother is planning on buying a Nintendo DS from the duty free shops and I think I may treat myself to one too, so we'll have those to entertain us, I also have a book, my ipod and a notepad to take crazy notes for my TR when I come back (which I dont want to happen :() I don't think I'll be able to sleep at all tonight I can't believe it's finally here!!

My mum thinks I'm crazy, I was walking around in my Tigger ears alll of today, until I had to go to work... don't think they'd have liked me turning up to work in those, although they would go well with the uniform :rotfl: I wear yellow and red... any guesses as to what I work as!?!!

This will be my last post in my PTR *sniffle* I've enjoyed writing in it, but I guess it's time to start the TR.. well almost, I have 2 weeks of the actually T part of the TR to go yet!!!

As first nights go we're landing at around 4ish Orlando time and we estimate getting to the hotel etc at around 6ish after all the checks, baggage claim, car getting etc. From then onwards we'll check in, find our room, dump the bags and run to DTD :) we need a Disney fix asap!! I don't know whether I've already said this but I'm so excited!!!

I'm off to eat dinner then listen to some Disney songs, only 12 hours to go until we leave :)

Byeeee!!!

ps thankyou Jo for the compliments and Laur's :princess: yup I drew them myself, you should see the other hand, it's appalling, I need to become ambidextrous!! :rotfl: oh and Laura's with red hair are the best I think ;)

ps thankyou Jo for the compliments and Laur's :princess: yup I drew them myself, you should see the other hand, it's appalling, I need to become ambidextrous!! :rotfl: oh and Laura's with red hair are the best I think ;)

Sorry I didn't catch you before you went, but I know you will be having a magical time :wizard: I am very impressed with your nails, I wish I had the patience (and talent) to do that. And I of course agree that Lauras with red hair are the best :thumbsup2

Hey everybody!
Got back home today and I don't want to be back at all!! I had such a fantastic time and I'm missing being there so much already!
The weather was amazing and I did some fantastic things, I'm hopefully gonna start a TR at some point in the next couple of days once I've caught up on sleep and my body clock has adjusted to normal time!!
Thanks for all your comments, I will reply to them all tomorrow but for now I'm off to bed again, 33 hours without sleep tends to exhaust you!!!

Thankyou! :goodvibes:

Right now some news about my Trippie.... at the moment all the pictures (bar those from the last day!) currently reside on my dad's laptop, at his work, and some on the photopass. My dad has subsequently forgotten everyday this week to bring the laptop home so I can get the pictures off, hence I have no pictures!!! So until I get the pictures back, which WILL be soon!!! (:rotfl:) I don't really want to start my TR until I get the pictures because I fear it will be a bit blank!

I promise it will be soon!!

Hey guys!
I'm so sorry that it's taken me so long to get my TR up and running, I forgot that I was away on camp for the whole of last week!! The good news is that whilst I was away dad transfered all the photo's across to the main computer, so I have access to them all!
I also have a free day tomorrow so I will definately write up a section tomorrow :)
I'll post the link on here when I start and you can all read to your hearts content!!! :rotfl:
sorry again!!!
