Paris CDG to DLRP roundtrip:
VEA = 68 Euros.
RS Transports = 140 Euros (+ tip?).

Worth the difference?

Isn't the VEA 70 euros EACH way for a family of 4?

I'm paying 110 euros round trip for a shared shuttle with RS Transports tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes.

Hmm. According to the VEA website, under rates, they say "Adult rate: 17 € per trip For adults and children 12 and over"

My math says 2 adults 17 x 2 = 34, two trips (there and back) 34 x 2 = 68.

Also, I guess I'm confused about RS Transports. Their website says "Private Transfer service From / To Disneyland Paris, Number of passengers 1-3, Roissy CDG airport: 70 €." I'm assuming this is one-way. Correct?

Hi Big Kids,

You have the math right.

I personally have had no problems with the VEA, its easy to find from my arrivals gate, and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a coach to turn up.

I used RS transports last year when the public transport strike was on in France. It certainly gets you to your hotel quicker, as the driver is there waiting for you at your gate. The car we had was lovely, and the service excellent.

I think its down to personal view whether its worth the extra money or not.
Personally, as you're talking double the price for the private transfer over the VEA, I'd say no, its not worth that much (that 70 euros is what I spend on food for a whole day in the parks).

Thanks!! We have used a car service in Orlando several times and thought it was worth the money, however it is about half the cost.

I am having the same debate as you! RS isn't as cost effective when it is 2 adults but I also like easy and convenient, trying to decide what that is worth to me!

If it helps, I worked out that if we compromised and booked a shared shuttle, then it was cheaper than the TGV, and only slightly more than the VEA

I got back from DLP last night and used R S Transports. I booked a shared shuttle for 110 euros return (2 adults, 2 children) and we didn't have to share with anyone!!

The man on the way was lovely and spoke good English. On the way back, they were 10 minutes late and the driver was grumpy and spoke no English at all! Luckily I had my confirmation email so I just showed him that!

I would use them again though apart from me having minor palpitations when they were late about missing the plane!!
