Any of you seen the new WDCC club kit?

I picked up the 2002 WDCC kit yesterday. It has a beautiful Snow White as the member gift sculpture this year. Inside it also has a gold plated bookmark backstamped as a 2002 member exclusive.

Funny thing is that the member pin has an error in the backstamp. It is a Snow White pin, and on the backstamp it says that it was created exclusively for 2001 WDCC members. It should say 2002

I wonder if all of the pins will say that, or if they will realize the error and fix the pins.

Anyone else join this year and get the kit yet?

I am not a WDCC member, but I would be interested in the Snow White pin if anyone has one for trade.

I also received the new WDCC kit and I have the Snow White pin. Mine says 2001 as well. In the first newletter I received, this was printed:

"Snow White Pin Error"

" Due to an administrative error, the 2002 Collectors Society Membership Pin will not bear the anticipated 'Produced exclusively for 2002 Walt Disney Collectors Society Member' backstamp. The backstamp on the pin quotes a 2001 date, which actually refers to the year in which the pin was manufactured. All pins were manufactured with this error. We apalogize for any inconvenience and disappointment created by this mistake."

Thanks for that answer. I was curious as to whether or not they would fix it. I guess not, so all of them are error pins....(but not as much fun as an error that has been corrected)

Got my kit already too. Never noticed the pin. Guess I'll take a look.
