If we purchase a resale that has the same use year and home resort of what we already own, will we have 2 seperate member numbers? I was not sure if they would "combine" them or if we would have to deal with 2 complete different sets of points?
Thanks for any help!!

You'll use just your original membership number...

If they are resale, I'm pretty sure they will be totally separate with different member numbers and all the rules that go with DVC like banking and borrowing.

We have done this - purchased VWL points from DVC direct and also BWV points from Jaki at atimeshare.com at the same time. Different resorts but both September use year. We have ONE member number! We were told that as long as your points are the same use year, it doesn't matter what resort or how you buy them, they'll all be under the same member number. For us, that's been true so far.
