How about a thread for photographs of random people, on the hopes that they will see and appreciate them here. Please date and place the photographs.

I'll start with a couple of shots which I took on my recent trip to WDW.

This was taken at the Beauty and the Beast musical at DHS on 5/14/2008. The couple was reportedly celebrating its wedding anniversary.

The EE shot was taken with a Canon 100-400mm zoom. It was a short solo trip, so I could afford to haul around some heavy gear. No tripod, though -- I'm not that gung-ho.

My sister in law was looking thru some pictures on here and seen me and my 2 boys when they had one of the Magical Beginnings mornings. She sent it to me and that was pretty wild seeing us in someone else's picture!!! You never know is a Dis'er!!

That is way cool. If you think about it for a sec, the odds are outstandingly poor of seeing anyone you know in another's photos. You have hit the lottery, so to speak. Hopefully, more people will post photos.

I've seen it happen before on DISboards.
Someone posted a group waiting in the rain for the parade on Main Street and another said== "Hey, that's us" and posted their own photos to prove it was them. Extremely rare, but cool when it happens.

I do, but of the ones uploaded to my online gallery, none have people in the shot. I can look through my gallery on my home computer tonight though to see if I've got any more - I usually only upload about 10% of the photos I take - so I'm sure I've got alot more from the same day. Any descriptions of you I should look for when browsing through? Color of shirt that day, tall or short, male or female, skinny or wide, beard, long hair, etc? If I see anything that looks like it might fit the description, I'll upload it and post it here!

Taking this pic was completely unintentional (I was trying to get the MH and Alice), but when I got home and downloaded them I thought it was so cute!! She was so happy to see the Mad Hatter, and he was terrified! I wish I would've gotten a pic of his face after she screamed and came running after him! :lmao:

I think this is a fantastic idea - hoping to see yourself or family members thru other people's pics! I posted a thread on here hoping someone has pics when they were there the week of 08/06-08/12/08. My DBFF's daughter is unable to get pics downloaded off her camera and this was their first trip.

Also I was there 01/31 - 02/04/08 and have seen pics on here after those dates. I'm hoping to somehow see pics of us as well! (I have some pics but they're on my daughter's camera). Plus I think it's neat to see yourself thru someone else's eyes (lens). :3dglasses

Yes, hundreds... I usually do not take pictures of crowds, however ;-)

If you are interested in seeing your family in another's crowd shot, why don't you post your own photo of yourself at Disney and state which parks/days you were there, and also describe your outfit for the day(s).

My problem with this thread is that I'm very good at framing my pics so there are no people in them-right now I wish I hadn't! Going through my photos it is almost amazing how few people are in them! I mean I have photos of scenery with noone in them and everything... Normally a good thing but wow.

Also there are no specific dates for any of them, since they were taken while I lived in the area and worked at WDW from Sep2006-Feb2008 sorry!!!

I dug through all my photos from that day, and didn't see anybody fitting your description in the background. I only had a handful of photos with people in them, since I usually try to avoid getting people in shots. But wide shots sometimes you have to include the crowd. I got there pretty late in the day - around noon.

At 5'10" and just shy of 200lbs, you would have noticed him! :rotfl: You might have seen me though - my son was put in "jail" by Sheriff Dave, and I had to bail him out by riding the horse around the restaurant while singing "Zippidy Do Da" It was quite a night! :rotfl2:

LOL I definitely would have remembered that! We were seated near the windows directly across from the entrance of the restaurant. Where was your family seated? We were disappointed that they didn't have the horses out for the kids to race while we were there. We had told the girls about it and they had wanted to do it.
