My wife is building a pergola in the backyard. Well, she's actually paying someone else to build it. We talked about building it ourselves, but we lack the skill, the tools, and the time. She's opted to let them build it and she'll stain it.

She wanted to record the build process. To do that, she set up our camera on the rocks over the pool looking back at the build site. Then, she took a picture every 10 seconds for 3 days of construction time (they still aren't quite finished). As patient as she is, she didn't actually sit by the camera snapping the picture every 10 seconds. She set up a time to take the shots. You can read a little more about the process on my blog (http://photoblog.barbierifamily.org). You can watch the resulting "video" here (http://barbieri.smugmug.com/gallery/4956082_jWFzs#296568461_4ysLK).

Hmmmm....59 views, no comments. Mental note - watching three days of pergola building is not an interesting topic.

You need to add some music like flight of the bumble bee or something. :thumbsup2

Actually, I find it interesting. Nice thought to recod the progrees. It looks like it's unfinished, though, so we didn't get to see the final product. Looks nice so far, though.

OK, I confess I watched it and did actually find it quite interesting! I apologise for my earlier sarcasm! :worship:
