During DIS Con, I purchased a really cute Mickey ring at one of the resorts. Contempoery I think. Anyway, the middle of it has fell out :( Thank goodness I found it!!!
I do not have the reciept, but i did see it for sale at more than one place in WDW. Have any of you ever had to return something? And do you know if they would replace this without a reciept?
Thaks,
Gerri

Hi Gerri.. I am dating myself here, but years ago in FrontierLand, they had a little antique shop.. I bought a very nice Victorian garnet ring........i got it home and the stones kept falling out of it.. I made a phone call, returned it.. and got my money back....but when you do call.. make sure you ask for a supervisor.. because I had to go above the sales people to finally get an answer.......

I had a t-shirt one year. Got it home, and it had a BIG hole in it.. naughty me for not really checking.
We went back a couple of months later, and I took it back to the shop at MGM that I got it. The man gave me a hassle... but Dh at that time worked for the Disney store..and talked to him. Disney is suppose to have a hassle free return policy.

Hi Gerri!
I bought a Mickey pinky ring at WDW in May and the stone fell out. I bought another one when I was there for DIS-Con and that one just lost its stone, too! Luckily, I found the last one. I think I'll just have my BIL, who is a jeweler, to glue it back in for me. But, it really is annoying that this keeps happening! What do they use to put them in, Elmer's????:(

Hey CDoobee, I was thinking of you the other day and wondering where is that girl... Glad to see you..
I think that when anything that is glued in, not prong set or bezel set, you run the risk of the stone loosening and falling out.. I learned that lesson a long time ago and just avoid that type of jewelry.. And they probably mass produce this rings so who knows how much glue gets in there to hold the stone in.. ;) :D
