Hi, I just watched the trailor for that movie on the computer. I want to go and get it for my kids to watch tonight. It looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an Indiana Jones movie marathon today!

Kristin, does your nephew like video games or movies? We like to go to Blockbuster and get one of the buckets of popcorn that you can pop in the microwave and a gift card. Then go to Walmart and get the boxes of movie candy and fill up the bucket! Wrap it in cellophane and tie it off! Really cute and the kids love it!

Re Gout: Steve too, suffers from gout. Thankfully, he has only had it a few times and he only takes the meds when he has an attack. It's Allopurinol and Indocin is what he takes. We met in '85, started dating in '86. We took our first trip to Disney in '86 and then went back in '87...taking his sister with us...she was just a teenager then. Anyhow, he had an attack while we were in the Magic Kingdom. That night, his sister and I stayed at the hotel and he went to a med center to get the drugs! The next day, we were at EPCOT and he gets an attack of "stomach distress". He didn't even get to see Captian EO! LOL Anyhow, we "thought" it was just the meds causing the distress, but it wasn't. By the next day, I was so sick. His sister called thier mom and told her, "they are passing the kaopectate bottle like it's a bottle of rum"! Oh, we were so sick!!! That was the WORSE flight home too! I just wanted to be home and in MY bed! We had went to the HoopDeDoo and I didn't hardly eat a thing. It was NOT the best trip!! Gout is NO fun. I know there are certain food to avoid...liver, shellfish, soda, ....oh heck, Steve knows better then I. I would do a search just to be sure and to limit those foods.

No plans for today. I really need to cut grass, and the sun is out, but it rained for 3 days straight and everything is so wet! It's suppose to rain this evening too. I might wait and see....if it's not raining at Noon, I might try.

Oh my gosh what a bad time that must have been for you and Steve. I hate being sick when I'm away from home. I flew home once from WDW sick by myself at least they upgraded me to first class....... Bruce, had a wicked reaction the meds. last night we think. He says it is Indocin, he took it and feelt very out of it. He tripped on the rug going into the restr. last night and his pupils were very big and he said he felt like he was in a cloud, while he was on it..I want him to call the dr. this morning and tell him that this happened to him!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finished our Indiana Jones moviethon with the Last Crusade last night. Now I only have 5 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are seeing Prince Caspian today.

I am getting my hair cut and highglighted today, it's only been 7 months LOL. It's pretty nasty. I hate it cuz it costs so darn much to have it done, but my darn hair has this idea that it can just get darker and darker as I get older, whose idea was that?

Thanks, Michele, I just showed it to Bruce he is telling me he does not want to bother the dr. ??? DUMB!!!!!!!! I'm going to call for him.. He said he felt very groggy, and out of it after he took it....!!!!!!!!!!! The dr. gave him two refills of this med. too. I do not want him to take it anymore. I'm sure they can give him something else...He can be very stuborn when it comes to going to the dr. Thanks,, for finding this for us!!!!!!!!!!

Our rec club pool opens this on the 24th. They filled the pool up about a month ago so it could start warming up....It hasn't been warm enough to warm up the water yet. We could hope for a week of sunshine, that would help. I planted flowers 2 weeks ago and moved my pineapples outside about 3 weeks ago. I have to let them acclimate to the outside. You have to slowly move them into the sun, about 2 - 3 weeks. If you move directly into the sun from inside, it will kill them.....ask me how I know that! :rotfl2: I managed to save them, but it put them a year behind beginning to produce fruit. Anyway, I am headed to the pool to do a little maintenance work. See y'all later.

I have the coffee cake in the oven. It was a really easy recipe. I even printed it off to take to Myrtle beach with us. We'll have the condo, so eating breakfast and one other meal in the unit is what we usually do. Sometimes we eat a big lunch out and sometimes dinner. Sometimes we don't eat out at all..but then that's not really vacation is it? LOL Of course, for us to eat out now, it's getting expensive! Everyone is ordering off the adult menu, so no more of those cheap kids meals.

Has anyone been to a Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant? I know where the one is at MB...Steve swears he's never seen it??...how would I know where it is then? ANYWAY, from what I could tell, it is owned by Jimmy Buffet, but with Margaritaville there too, should we just go there instead.....OR, I am sure Allen would say, Go to both! LOL Just wondering if it's as good as Margariaville. The reviews say yes!

Well, I made the mistake of waiting to make the kennel ressies for the dogs for June, and she is BOOKED! Now I have to find another kennel! There is one just up the street that they have been to before, but it's under new management and when I called and talked to her, I was just not thrilled. I don't know...they're dogs, right? A lot of people I know don't "like" it because they had to wait... sheeze... we waited 2 hours for a table... we did not have ressies... I love her food and I do a lot of her recipes and love them all. BUT we're "suthern" and so is she! Her Mac and Cheese is to die for as is her fried chicken and I loved the collard greens. Mary had the "asparagus sandwich" from the menu, but I believe all the rest had the buffet! No complaints here!

Sure hope you get a kennel for the doggies!

Michele, I dont suppose you could get a dog sitter to come in and take care of them at home? We have one that takes care of our critters (2 cats, fish, guinea pig) AND she gets the mail for us, makes sure that our plants are watered, and only for $15 a day. If we HAD a dog she would walk them for 30 minutes or so too... and she is an adult, licensed and bonded.

Then I had to install a new exhaust fan in the mens bathroom, and replace some electrical outlets and fix another electrical problem. Made 2 trips to Home Depot and I'm still not finished. I have another exhaust fan to fix and 2 outdoor speakers to replace.....before next Saturday!! Now I am having a cigar and a beverage on the front porch!!

The therapy will really pay off in the long way and make it so that you 100%...I had a friend who had hip replacement and really did not do the therapy and it took a looong time. So the therapy really really does help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took a while to get the fire going. Guess I should have emptied it out before I set the flames to it, had a lot of smoke. On the good side I got rid of a winters worth of junkmail :)
Nancy set up the gazebo over the sandbox today. It just gets way too hot in the summer so it's like a little retreat for the kidlets. My folks needed help with their patio, they were putting in a new one and needed the manual labor to bring the stones over. We didn't get much else accomplished today. Nancy bought a bunch of flowers but didn't plant them since I need to finish off the flower bed first. I have a lot of work to do in the backyard, good thing this is a long week-end. As soon as it's nice enough we want to do some work to our patio and put up the yet to buy gazebo LOL

Good Morning Parrotheads!!

well, we slept in this morning! WAY LATE! Church starts at 11, I woke up at 955!! I have not slept that long in a forever!! There was no way we would have made it to church on time. I can't believe the dogs didn't even get us up! It's been raining all morning, so maybe with it being just a bit darker, they just "thought' it wasn't time? Either way, I'll take it!

We had thought about cleanlng out a flowerbed at the front of the yard, against the street. It's surrounds a couple of utility boxes. In our side of the bed, there is an evergreen bush and a holly bush. Then under, around and growing through it, is some sort of ground cover, that is just out of control. We have cut it back, even tried to cover it with that black paper, but it finds the tiniest hole and climbs out. SO, our idea is to just tear it all out, even the bushes, and spray on ground clear, then put more black paper...in both directions, and add mulch. Then leave it for maybe 2 years and then redo the bed. When we redo it, we'll probably just add a bush or 2 and leave it at that. None of that wild ground cover!!

However, Steve is a little sore from standing for 2 days and it's still drizzleing.....it would make the soil soft enough to just pull out stuff though!
