Does anyone know the size of the tent sites - loop 1500? We are looking at a tent sized 21' x 17', would this tent fit on these sites?

Hiya carolyn!!! The sizes of the sites vary greatly from one to the next....to be honest, I dont think anyone here has exact measurements of any of them. Its fairly common knowledge that the 2000 loop has larger sites than the 1500 loop. Those are the only Tent/pop-up loops on the campgrounds. They have larger sand pads than the rest of the loops that are set up for Rvs. If you have a larger tent, and plan to have a screen house of some sort as well....2000 may be what your looking for, but 1500 is fine for an avg tent and a screen house.
Welcome to the dis camping boards. Hang out here for a while....theres plenty of information on Ft Wilderness that you dont even realize will come in handy...plus, the folks here are a trip. They get ya to laughing....or blushing...one of the two is guaranteed!!!

Thanks BigDaddyRog!!
This tent is on sale for $100 off and we can't decide wheather to buy it or not. We have other tents, but this one is really nice, but big!!! We want to stay in the 1500 loop because it is so close to the pool. This is our first time camping at the Fort and we have found this dis board so helpfull!!! You guys are so friendly too. We are thinking of making a mickey lamp post and love your art work on the dis logos. We can't wait till October!!! Thanks again!!!:disrocks:

That's the one!! Such a great price, but we decided it might be too big for the site. We will keep our eye out for more sales for a smaller tent.

Probably a good choice. I had a tent that had some off shoots from the main section and the water drainage from it was awful. Most of the time the water pooled and then started dripping inside the tent. :scared1:
