If I'm a guest at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, is it OK to use the pool at the VWL? Or is that for DVC members and VWL guests only?

hi: it's just a regular "quiet" pool. i believe you would be allowed to use it. there's never been any id checking that i've seen at the luna park pool or quiet pool at bwv.

Your best bet would be to post your question over on the DVC board. I bet they'll know the answer: Dis' DVC Board (http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=50&forumid=28)

By the way, I have been at the BWV a couple of times when guests were carded to use the Luna Park pool (most recently last Easter). I have never used the quiet pool at the BWV, so I don't know if they ever card over there.

The villa's are part of the resort. I was always told when staying at the resort, both pools were open to guest of that resort.

I've seen them card at the quiet pool when it was really crowded. There were quite a few locals swimming there that day (I know because I overheard a whole herd of them laughing about it) and they were all thrown out (and not all that nicely I might add :D) when they couldn't produce resort ID's. :mad:

I don't pay annual dues to DVC for the locals to swim in the pools. If I lived locally I wouldn't DREAM of swimming in a WDW resort pool if I wasn't staying at the resort at the time.

We just got back this evening from WDW and split our stay between OKW and VWL. The pools at both places were posted with signs that said they were for use of the guests at those resorts only. The quiet VWL pool had a sign welcoming both WL and VWL guests, so you will have no problems using it as a WL guest.
