I went to Sams yesterday for some film (remember that stuff?) developing.
I noticed that they will also do (while you wait-1 hour) prints from digital images on CDs.
They charge .20 for 4X6 and .75 for 5X7.

I thought this seemed pretty reasonable, is it?

Well, depending on the quality and archiveness of the print, it is a really good price...about the same as traditional film printing at Sams. Since Sams around here uses Fuji paper (but sell Kodak film???), I'm guessing the paper archivalness is good. I'd just wonder about the ink.

If these prices are available around me, I may have to accelerate my digital camera purchase a few years... :)
