Hi everyone

I was wondering whether anyone out there has the same problem as I do - or even whether it is really a problem!

My trouble is that I cannot trade a pin unless I have 2 of them. So even if I have a pin that I am not so fond of I cannot bring myself to trade it even if the opportunity presents itself. For example, if I were to make a trade on a CM lanyard and then think it was not such a good pin as I had first thought, I cannot bring myself to trade it again.

Is anybody else like me? I bought some cheap pins as traders before my last trip with the intention of trading them all but fond that I could only part with the doubles!

I always feel that I should have a permanent collection, my traders and some sort of middle group that I will trade if need be, but somehow I can never set up that third group!

How do you all manage your keepers/traders?

Karen

I know exactly what you mean! I have some favorite pins in my trade collection, and sometimes I am afraid to trade them.....even tho I have it in my collection. I have gone through different stages tho, now I am going through my keepers and actually preparing to trade some of those away......trying to only the keep my absolute FAVS.

As for how I keep them......my keepers are in one of three places:
On towels that I hold up with skirt hangers.....I have a DL towel, Fab 6 towel, Movie Character towel, WDW 2000 towel etc.
OR
I have framed some of them
OR
(Now NO laughing!!!) sitting on my bureau waiting for me to decide what to do with them!!!

As for my traders.....I have a pin bag......but currently they are in a photo album, stuck thru the pages, with a page btwn them to prevent scratches.

I can't seem to develop a middle group....if I am unsure about a pin, it sits in my collection for now!
