Arrived to MCO around 11, waited to meet my inlaws who were driving over from Tampa because our flight was oversold. Our crew included myself, DH and his parents. I thought we were never going to get to the hotel, but finally arrived at 3:00 via Thrifty Rental Car. Let me tell you the SOG was just beautiful driving up to. I could not believe how nice it was for $111 a night.

We rushed over to the Magic Kingdom that afternoon and quickly made it over to TL. Wow-the castle was huge!! I was really exicted to see Stitch's Great Escape and I was disappointed! I thought it was going to be a ride, I thought it was okay but my expectations were much higher.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317307976.jpg

When then went over to Laugh Floor Monsters Inc. Kinda of boring but it was cute how they were making fun of some of the people in the audience. Then we grabbed a FP for Space Mountain and headed over for the teacups. I think our cup was the fastest spinning one because when we were done I could hardly stand up. The line for Peter Pan was way too long so we went and jumped in IASW. Such a cute ride but once was enough for me for the trip.

We then headed over to Space Mountain. Jumped on it and for some reason the music never came on. I guess the DW version doesn't have the cool music like DL. Still a very fun ride and liked the one drop in it. My Mother in law hated it and vowed to never return on it again.

Went over to the Country Bear Jamboree which is one of my favs. The sound was sort of bad, but still it's a classic!

We then headed back to the SOG for the Prime Rib Buffet. During our meal they ran out of Prime Rib :( So the manager took off half from our bill. What I had of the Prime Rib there was very good.

Then it was off to rest for a early morning adventure at AK.

We arrived at Animal Kingdom at 9 on Monday Morning. Wow, there were tons of people there and I swear every single one of them wanted to go on the Kil. Safaris. We went over and jumped in line and only had to wait 20 minutes. We were able to see a lot of the animals and thought the ride wasn't to bumpy at all. I really felt like I was in Africa!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317310257.jpg

After that we went around explored some of the lands and caught the Finding Nemo show. I loved it! We then headed off to have lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ. I had the beef BBQ sandwich with baked beans and DH had the ribs with baked beans. The food was quite excellent and check out our view below!!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317307967.jpg

We then went and grabbed a FP for EE and ran over to Dinoland. We road Dinosaur, which was not nearly as good as Indiana Jones, but it was cool to have the big dino at the end almost eat you.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317311053.jpg

We then rode Primevil Whirl 3 times in a row. That ride is so fun, I didn't want to get off. We then headed over to EE. OMG, I was so nervous I don't even know why. It was probably from all of the screaming I heard coming from the ride. I was so impressed with all of the artifacts they had and found everything in the line to be extremely interesting.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317311564.jpg

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! We are going to die! Just kidding.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317311566.jpg

Disney you rock! That was the coolest ride I have ever been on. I could wait to come back later in the week and jump back on! It totally takes you by surprise and the Yeti looked so real.

After that we went over to Bug's Life and took advantage of some of the animal walking trails. We headed back to the hotel and were off to DHS for EMH. More about that later.......

So after our hour or so break the four of us headed over to DHS. I was so excited to finally get to see the big wizard hat. Headed in and to right both my DH and I really liked the old gas station with the classic truck. We thought it was done really well. We then headed over to Star Tours, which is one of my favorites. The outside area was neat with the huge AT-AT at the front. Also the I really felt for a second there I was in the Ewok forest.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317310254.jpg

After Star Wars we went on the last Backlot tour of the day. It was alot of fun, but it was kind one of those things once you see it you probably would not do it again for along time. I loved seeing the costumes from Enchanted, that movie is so precious.

By then it was getting dark so we headed over to the Tower of Terror. The outide was so impressive and looked better than the one at DL. We walked on the ride with no wait which was cool. I was getting butterflies as the screen came on with Rod Sterling because I knew what was in store for me. My Mother in Law kept asking what is this ride and both my DH and I just smiled at her. We were seated in the front row and off we went. I have to say I was surprised with how the elevator moved forward and also we did not turn into ghosts and wave goodbye like the one at DL. That effect is so cool. We were given 4 good drops and then it was overwith. My Mother in Law enjoyed the ride but said she would never do it again LOL.

We are in the front row to the very left, I don't know why I am laughing.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317424800.jpg

After that fun adventure we went over to find out where the Sci-Fi diner was at for our 9:30 reservation. We were 30 minutes early so we went over to the Ewok forest and took a few pictures.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317424795.jpg

Picture of me while waiting for dinner, man I was getting hungry!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317424799.jpg

They called us around 9:20 and we were greeted by a very nice waitress. Our service was outstanding and the food was good, not great but good. The atmosphere was so neat. I wish more restaurants had themes like this one. I had the grilled chicken bruschetta sandwhich with the cucumber salad. I loved the cucumber salad, which had gotten a bad rep on the boards. My DH and his dad both had the cheeseburgers and my Mother in Law had the BLT soup which she didn't care for. We didn't have dessert, but they did look quite yummy looking at the cars next to us.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317424797.jpg

After dinner we went over to the Great Movie Ride. We waited about 20 minutes for it, by the way it was a EMH and it was getting quite crowded. I enjoyed the ride, I really liked the Wizard of Oz scene. After this it was off to bed so we could get up early to hit Epcot. Until then......

So Tuesday morning the four of us headed over to Epcot and arrived right after 8 for the EMH. Not to crowded, we headed straight over to Soarin and waited 10 minutes to board. I was really excited for the inlaws to ride it! We sat in the front row so there were no feet dangling in front of us. After the ride they totally loved it, even my DH (who thought is was lame at DL) walked away actually liking the ride this time.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317562239.jpg

We then headed over to test track which had about a 20 minute wait. The wait was interesting with all of the engines and tools everywhere. The ride was fun, but honestly I was expecting a lot more.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317426413.jpg

Next was the dreaded Mission Space Orange. I was nervous from everything I read on the boards. We walked right on so I didn't have time to think about it. They guys were excited about the ride. So we jump in our spaceship and it was freezing cold in there. So we take off to Mars and to be quite honest the ride is not that intense. It was fun and I never knew I was spinning. I just focused on the screen and pushed all the buttons when I was told. I could only imagine the green side being like a computer game. So this was my favorite ride at Epcot by far!

On our way to World Showcase we stopped at the Peter Pan topiary rose garden. Way too cute!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317426416.jpg

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317426415.jpg

Time for lunch we headed over to England and all had fish and chips from the Yorkshire Fish and Chips shop. They were excellent, even better than what I had in real England last year. Oh the picture below is of us being silly in Canada.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317426414.jpg

So in browsed around England, and ouch the prices were outrageous. So I was a little let down by that, but still enjoyed looking at all of the shops and gardens.

Onto France and how yummy the desserts were there. I had a taste of the best soft serve I have ever tasted! We went to the perfume shop, who was having some great deals for Mother's Day. After that we went and saw the film on France, which was so beautiful. The countryside is so breathtaking their.

After that I spotted the Grey Goose slushie cart and I have to tell you that was one of the best drinks I have ever had. It wasn't that strong, but it was sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!11

That Grey Goose thing was so good!!! We went to WS on our first full day and I got me one of those, found a fountain for DS to throw pennies into, and sat and enjoyed! We sat right beside that courtyard with the hedges. That was before I got into my picture taking groove though, so I don't have a pic!

Nice TR! I see a lot of people like the Grey Goose stuff. I don't know really know much about alcohol, but what makes it so good? I'm up for trying it if it's not that strong.

They grey goose slushies aren't that strong. The blend of the alcohol and lemon flavors is actually refreshing. Be sure and try one!

;) So back to the TR. We passed by Morroco and headed straight for Japan. Japan was my favorite country, I loved the huge store and the prices were very great. They had a great selection of body products, the dishes were amazing and the food was very interesting. We spent over an hour looking around the store. We also checked out the menu for dinner at Yakatori house which sounded really good. Also the prices were good!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317705822.jpg

We strolled though America, didn't see much going on there. Didn't stop to check out the show there. So we headed over to Italy, very neat the architecture there. Saw a cute lady and the tramp topiary.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317705823.jpg

After that we headed over to Germany and checked out all of the cute stores. The teddy bears were amazing. Also saw where Biergarten was located, we had a reservation for Friday. It smelled wonderful.

A couple of the above items would be Disney spluges LOL. I love the mini Donald and Daisy Duck.

Stay tuned for more World Showcase Fun-coming up China and yummy margaritas in Mexico!

So moving right along we passed an adorable lion in a small Africa section of World Showcase.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317770704.jpg

China was next, beautiful buildings were everywhere here. We went over and saw the 360 circlevision "Reflections of China" movie. Exteremely beautiful presentation and I learned a few things about China that I didn't know. After the movie we went over to the huge shop there and I purchased a bunch of Chinese soaps for a dollar each. That was my bargain for the day.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317770702.jpg

After spending about 30 minutes in the store we proceeded to Norway and walked right on Maelstrom. Very short ride but it was neat to see the trolls. There was no movie playing afterwards so we looked around the shop there, and I found this huge troll so my fatherlaw and I took a picture with him.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317770708.jpg

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317770705.jpg

There was also a very entertaining band in Norway that we stopped and watched for a few minutes.

Mexico was next. Being from Texas and living in San Antonio I wasn't too excited about Mexico since I basically live in the culture. I liked the Mayan temple though and the inside was so beautiful. I was kicking myself for not making a reservation for the San Angel Inn, because it looked amazing. The atmospere reminded of my favorite restaurant in the whole world The Blue Bayou at DL. We looked around at all of the carts there and then jumped on the Gran Fiesta boat ride. I love Donald Duck and thought it was very entertaining and even silly in some parts. After that we went over and my DH and I had churros and I had a margarita (yummy!) By this time we were all so exhausted that we took a long sit down break there at the San Angel Cantina. We had a great view of the water and it wasn't too hot.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317771806.jpg

After this we headed back to FutureWorld and rode Spaceship Earth. We only had to wait less than 10 minutes to get on. It was so relaxing that is was hard to keep your eyes open. Cool ride though and educational for everyone. After that we headed over to The Land. I loved that ride so much, because I like to garden. It was neat to see the upside down tomato plants and also how Disney does there part on reasearching different ways to give back to the land. Also there was not wait for this ride at all. Everyone was starting to get hungry so we jumped on the ferry over to Japan for dinner. We went to Yakatori House and I have to say the food was incredible. We each hand the combo entree with terayaki chicken and beef and a fried tempera shrimp with rice. For TS the food was excellent and the price was good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very authentic and while we were eating we could see the drummers outside performing a show.

Stay tuned for my wrapup of day 3 at Epcot and then more on DHS.

So to finish out our amazing day at Epcot, DH's parents decided to head back to the hotel. So we went over and checked out some of the shops. Then we decided to jump on Finding Nemo. It was cute, but the subs at DL are way better. Afterwards we stayed in the aquarium part for awhile and watched the dolphin swim around. When then went and checked out all of the Flower and Garden festival merchandise. They were out of the Mickey garden troll :(

We then found a great spot and waited about 30 minutes for the fireworks to start. OMG, they were so loud, I guess because they are right there. I had my ears covered. The fireworks were cool, I liked how they lit up the World Showcase buildings. The music was beautiful too. After the fireworks we headed back to the hotel and man we were dead. I had no trouble sleeping that night.

More to follow on DHS and my conquering my fears of riding RNRC!

The next morning my Mother in Law had to leave to go home for work. So it was just the 3 of us. So we went back to DHS on Wed morning. We headed straight for RNRC, the wait was only 20 minutes. My DH and his Dad went ahead and rode it, because I had to take a restroom break. I went inside the giftshop and waited for them. They had some really cool Aerosmith shirts in there so this gave me time to pick out the ones I wanted to buy. It was also fun watching peoples reactions getting off the ride. We they finished with the ride they were both smiling about how much fun it was. So I went and jumped back in line with them. I admit I was nervous, but I enjoyed the preshow. Also it was fun watching people take off. So my DH I had the very front seat. It felt like we were never going to take and the we shot of so fast I couldn't even scream. We were thrown into what I assumed was a loop, it was more intense than Mission Space ever could be. I loved the ride, I was singing along to Love in an Elevator and Take me to Other Side. What fun! One of the best rides I had ever been on, but too short. I purchased a cute Aerosmith tank top at the gift shop.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317934906.jpg

Next we went over and did the Sounds Dangerously show with Drew Carey, okay I just didn't get it. Very boring show :(

After that we went over and picked up fast passes for the Indiana Jones show and checked out were the Lights, Motors, Action show was at. We went and jumped on Star Tours again and we also saw the Jedi Training Academy. Too cute, I wish I could have gone up there though!

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1438/6159745/19679882/317935361.jpg

After that we had lunch at the ABC Commissary, I felt like being bad and ordering a burger with fries. The burger was called the "Ugly Betty", how fun! It was good, but we were in a hurry so could catch Lights, Motors, Action at 1. We made over and had an excellent seat. It was really getting hot out at this point. We all loved the show, it is amazing they things they do with automobiles and pushing the limits. Two thumbs up!! After this show we made our way back over for the Indiana Jones show. We waited about 25 minutes for it to start. We enjoyed the show, def. would have rather gone on the ride like at DL though. I liked how they pulled people out of the audience, I was too shy to raise my hand LOL. After that we went and walked right on to TOT, man this time there were way more drops-it was too much fun. After that we jumped back in line for RNRC and just before I turn it broke down :( Oh, well we were getting tired by that time anyway. So we went and looked around some of the shops and then headed back to the hotel to rest. Stay tune for our MK report from that night and yes it does involve a dream experience!

I'm enjoying your TR so far. :thumbsup2 for riding RnRC! I wish I could muster up the courage to do it. I'm convinced that I'd be one of those rare folks that keels over as soon as the ride is over. I'm a big chicken :scared1: .

So after a little R&R at the hotel the three of us headed to the Magic Kingdom. It wasn't too crowded on that Wed late afternoon. We headed left towards POC. My DH and I decided to stop of a Dole Whip, and it was fantastic. Walking by the Aladdin carpet ride looked cute, but the line was too long. Also, I liked the outside of the tiki room, never saw the show though. We went over and walked onto POC. I loved the entryway it was much nicer than DL. Went on the ride, it was cool. However the one at DL is much better and longer. Also no Blue Bayou :( -my favorite place to eat ever! So we went and checked out the gift shop, very cute stuff. I bought a shirt and then when headed over to Jungle Cruise. We waited 15 minutes in line. JC is basically the same in DL, I did like the tunnel though, it added a nice touch. After that we went over to the Hall of Presidents to look around, we didn't stay for the show. However the building was beautiful.

My Father in Law decided to head back to the room, so DH and were left by ourselves. We went over and saw the wait for SP was 60 minutes so we decided to skip it for now.

I have to go back to work, but I promise there is more to come!
