Just wanted to let everyone know that I've organized my photobucket...finally! I didn't move the images because it would break the links that I have posted so far. I just created new folders in the main Journal folder. If anyone has trouble finding anything please let me know!

It looks great. We are surprising our DD #1 who will be 5 when we go. DD #2 will be 11 months. I am so excited. DH and I went in Sept. 2002 for our honeymoon. We took DD #1 in Nov. 2006. We will be celebrating our 6th wedding Anniversary while their.

That's so great. I wish I could surprise my kids, but I just can't keep it in. I think I'm more excited about it than they are! :rotfl:

We're going to a few character meals. I think it's Natalie that has the page with all of the invitations to the events/restaurants etc. I downloaded some of those as well.

You guys will have so much fun! When are you going? We're going Oct 12 - 17. I haven't been since I was 8 years old!

Thank you! It's not too hard...I use a combination of Power point and photoshop. I basically use power point, but use photoshop to clean up some of the clip art.

Thank you so much. It didn't take too long....a lot less time than my autograph pages, which I still have to finish....just needed a break from them for a few days...lol.

I went into powerpoint and changed the page layout to slightly smaller size than 8 1/2 x 11. I think I used 7.5 x 10. Then I set it up to be portrait instead of landscape. Then I googled whatever topic I was doing in google images. Sometimes I set a large picture as a background and sometimes I just used the slide design in power point. Then I collected various clips online (mostly from www.disneyclips.com). Then I inserted shapes, changed the layout of the shapes and added text. after I finished, I saved it as a jpeg file. Sometimes the clips needed cleaning up, such as erasing only one character or deleting a background, etc, so for that I used photoshop, then saved the file as a .gif so that the background wouldn't be supported. The most time consuming part is actually finding the pics/clips you want to use.

These pages are wonderful! I can't wait to print these.

Photoshop is photo editing software. It's pretty expensive to get to just do this. DH had it already. That's the only reason I have it...lol

You could use power point to do just about everything. A lot of people use power point exclusively.

Also, there's a program called photoimpact that a lot of people use. You can download a 30 day trial for free at their website. It's similar to photoshop. That would be plenty of time for you to finish your project :)

I'll also try to decrease the color on the pages. i might be able to do it in a way that I dont' have to re-do each page. I'll work on it.

Hope all is well at the dentist! Thank you for these ... I just love the Chef Mickey's one. As I said, DS is a bit too old for the activity books but I think he will like these. We can jot down our notes about each restaurant and then I can add them to the scrapbook. So very cool!

I'm back...The dentist's office was so awesome. It was her first trip to a new dentist. There were large Disney Icons EVERYWHERE. It was all WDW themed. They had a game room and everything. She's ready to back for her 6 month check up already! lol

I am going to do My own version of BBP as I can't see paying someone that much money as I am not sure DD #1 will sit still for it. SO if you want to do something for that. We are doing DTD and I see someone has asked for that. Thinking of miniature golf and someone has asked for those. Thinking of doing the camp fire at wilderness lodge it is hosted by chip and dale and is a camp fire and a movie.

I really need to try to figure out how to do this as I have ideas for some other pages but just not sure how to do them. My ideas were to do one for each land at MK and AK and a page for the parades for MK, AK and HS. Plus the different areas of Epcot future world.

Thanks so much! I didn't know they had different zones either, and I really didn't know what to put into it, but I looked it up online and thought it would be neat to have a different page for each. I think I'm going to go back and make pages for each land in the other parks too and some other things.

A lot of people have suggested taking them to staples to have them printed. I think that's what I'm going to do. Ultimately it'll probably be less expensive than buying all that ink!

Just wanted to post a note to everyone who has requested designs.

I never imagined getting so many requests. I'm really happy to do all of these and am having so much fun!

They are taking me a bit longer to do than I originally thought, though. If anyone is leaving soon and would like me to try to get their pages done, please let me know. Otherwise I'm completing requests in the order that they were submitted.

Any requests for covers will be completed immediately. I have a template and it's only a matter of changing the name and only takes about 10 seconds.

Again, thank you guys for letting me add to the magic of your vacations! I'll get to all of the requests as soon as possible and I plan to add some more to my journal as well. I'll post those on this thread as I finish them.

Just wanted to post a note to everyone who has requested designs.

I never imagined getting so many requests. I'm really happy to do all of these and am having so much fun!

They are taking me a bit longer to do than I originally thought, though. If anyone is leaving soon and would like me to try to get their pages done, please let me know. Otherwise I'm completing requests in the order that they were submitted.

Any requests for covers will be completed immediately. I have a template and it's only a matter of changing the name and only takes about 10 seconds.

Again, thank you guys for letting me add to the magic of your vacations! I'll get to all of the requests as soon as possible and I plan to add some more to my journal as well. I'll post those on this thread as I finish them.

I can’t wait to start putting our December Trip Journal together !

Are you going to do a page for each hotel? We will be staying at the Grand Floridian (thought it would be more Christmas)

I was thinking about pages for special Disney things. I know you already did the build a light saber. How about a special page for the Pick a Pearl? This can be done at Epcot in Japan or DTD.Maybe also the first pair of customized ears.I know this is new so it might be a good thing to try.

Trust me its hard keeping it a secret. But with an almost 5yr old she will be asking if its time to go yet every day.

we are doing H & V its JOJO, Goliath, June and Leo, breakfast doing CP dinner. So those are
great. We are their Sept. 20-Sept. 29

If you want to do and have time we are doing
LTT the night of MNSSHP
Boatrights dinner
CRT breakfast
The princess breakfast at Norway
Tuskar House which is Donald and friends breakfast
and one more place just not sure where.

I am going to do My own version of BBP as I can't see paying someone that much money as I am not sure DD #1 will sit still for it. SO if you want to do something for that. We are doing DTD and I see someone has asked for that. Thinking of miniature golf and someone has asked for those. Thinking of doing the camp fire at wilderness lodge it is hosted by chip and dale and is a camp fire and a movie.

I really need to try to figure out how to do this as I have ideas for some other pages but just not sure how to do them. My ideas were to do one for each land at MK and AK and a page for the parades for MK, AK and HS. Plus the different areas of Epcot future world.

I think most people are taking them somewhere to have them printed. It would take a LOT of ink to do it at home, so I'm taking them to staples when I'm finished. I've read about other people having them cut and bound and everything at staples. There's another thread that talks about that as well.

hmmm...I'm sorry ... not sure what's going on. I had some trouble with photobucket earlier. Have you tried downloading it from my 4shared site?

I think it may be because they're KODAK Easyshare jpegs. I got some from your photobucket and from your 4shared site and if I open up a page in Word it's just gobbledy gook. But, when I add it to my KODAK Easyshare Software it comes up just fine and I can print the pages that way.
