well since gas is going through the roof I've made a decision although a sad one..I'm leaving the TT home my next visit HOME and just taking my camping gear...my new tent is almost as big as some TT's so its not that it won't be nice and roomy lol....with the air mattresses I own the sleep will be comfy...but it still won't have the potty I enjoy in the middle of the night lol anyone ever used a chem toliet??? :scared1: I spent about 600 on gas last trip...figure 1200 this year...I'd rather spend my funds on other stuff....

Wal-Mart carries a hassock toilet that is basically a bucket inside of a bucket with a seat. You put some water and a blue packet in there. That toilet runs about $25 - $30. I have used that type of toilet inside my tent before with no problems. I find it easier to empty and clean than my two piece "flushable toilet" in my T@B.

I love tent camping and never had a TT, but I stay in my sister's RV at FW. Hmmm.. I guess I'm just conflicted. Never even thought about getting a TT though because my wife doesn't like to camp. I also like to backpack.

..... the travel toliet ......OMG!!!!:rotfl2: :worship: :rotfl2: That was GOOOOD:thumbsup2
I know we've contemplated this over and over this year!! We're from Canada, and last Halloween it cost us $952 for fuel round trip:scared1: So we figured we'd add about another few hundred for this year. Well with Free Dining this year, we decided to go earlier and we've booked a value instead of the fort. I have to go where the $ goes the farthest, and besides that DH said he isn't sleeping in a tent when he has to leave our 30ft TT at home:rotfl: Hopefully next year, we can be back at the Fort.
