I'll be staying at OKW for 4 nights later this month. I was thinking of adding the DDP. I'm going solo and do not arrive my first night until 9:30PM,so table service is out for me.

One of the days I'm there a friend, who lives near Orlando, is going to spend the day with me hanging out. Would I be able to use one of my table service credits to pay for her meal (I'll have the extra from my 1st night)?

No, the number of guests on the plan will show on your card.

Thank Chuck. Guess I'll skip the DDP then. No sense payng for a day's meals I can't use.

I do have the DDE card, so I'll save some money that way.

You'll get one table service, one counter service and one snack credit for each NIGHT of your stay. Unless you are also leaving early on your last day, you should have enough days to use up the credits. Plus you can always get one of those signature restaurants that require two credits. Or eat a breakfast AND a dinner on one day.

TerriI agree with Chuck, I'd do one or more signatures. A shorter stay is one of the best times to do the DDP and a single person is a great time as well if you'll eat sit downs. While technically you can't pay for their meal, you could always get a sharing type appy for that meal if you wanted. Chuck is correct on the rules of paying for others, I'm sure the reason is to keep people from lying about their occupancy then sharing the meal plan, not for the situation in question. Just remember if that friend plans to stay the night you'd have to technically get the DDP for them as well for all 4 nights.
