We love the Adventurer's Club! I think people either love it or they hate it. It's like a 1930's private club with all sorts of odd-n-ends from around the world. There are various "characters" walking around and mingling. (They are easy to spot since they look like 1930's adventurers!) Every so often everyone moves into the library for a show-singing, slapstick comedy, that sort of thing. I think if you want to get a real impression of the place, expect to spend more than a few minutes there. Some people walk in, order a drink, nothing happens in 10 minutes so they leave. If you're looking for dancing or music, this is not the place!

You can read a little about AC at

http://www.wdwinfo.com/downtown/pi/index.htm#Downtown-Disney-Pleasure-Island-nightlife

It's certainly a different place. Probably no other place like it anywhere on property.

there is a bar, stuff happens, go in, hang out, have a drink, eventually, stuff will happen. Before ya know it, it will be hoopla.

Can I take my teenagers into the adventurers club? You could...a lot of people frown upon it because, technically, it is a bar, but you could take them. The cast does try to limit risque topics and innuendo when they notice youngsters in the crowd. I've seen teens in there almost everytime we go!

For the record, if we make it to WDW next year, there will be a teen with us (16 by that time) and we intend, unless the rules change, to take him with us to the AC! (don't flame me Oscar...lol)
