It appears that my son's chess section (CT State tournament) is actually playing on Sunday instead of Saturday like I originally thought. Her really wants me to accompany him, and even if I did send my husband, it would be hard for him to be at a chess tournament all day with our other two kids by himself.

So...here's my idea. The tournament is at the Greenwich Hyatt. I think that we should have the meet there so that we can attend and my son can trade in between chess games. Whaddya say?? ;)

Seriously, though, I'm bummed....and so is he!!

I would love that!! It's a lot of sitting around and waiting during (and in-between for David) games.

I am just grinning from ear to ear thinking about this!! And David is too!

His games are at 10, 12, 2, 4 and 6. Each game lasts no more than an hour, and parents have to stay outside the playing area (so I usually bring a book!). It's at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency, 1800 E. Putnam Ave., Old Greenwich CT ....exit 5 off of 95.
