Our plans for the show

Hi everyone;

Just want to give everyone a 'heads up' on our plans for the show. We were planning to record a new episode this week, but I'm still sick (much better than I was, but still sick) and I don't want to give this to the rest of the team. So tomorrow I'll be releasing the Disneyland show we recorded a few weeks ago (it was Bob's last show), then next week we'll be recording our tribute to Bob. We'll return to our regular schedule on May 27th.

Thanks for your patience while we've dealt with Bob's passing - it's been tough on all of us, but we're all ready to get back to doing the show.

I'm glad to hear it! While the loss of Bawb has been devastating to all of us, I'm sure he'd want you all to go on and keep the show going in his honor.

It will be tough for me to listen to the next 2 shows at least. Given Bob's last show and the tribute show. Every time I read about "Bawb" or listen to a past show I cannot help but get choked up. I never met him but as many times I was heading to disney in the next year I was hoping that I would. I will miss his voice and my prayers go out to Dian"er" and the whole podcast team.

A box of tissues will be present for a few weeks.....

This is my first post on the podcast boards, and I just wanted to add one thing. During a LONG drive 'down the shore' this weekend, we listened to old podcasts from a year or so ago. Bob was there, talking about his "EVC" (and everyone reminded him that it's really an ECV), and wondering if Crocs made boots :) .

This was the first time we'd ever heard this particular podcast, and I gotta tell you, it made me really sad and happy at the same time. You could tell Bob really loved doing the podcasts, and you could hear the admiration everyone had for each other.

Sorry to go OT, but I just wanted to share this little memory with all of you, and to thank Pete and the gang for all the hard work they do!

Chiming in with many others - my wife and I had a long drive to visit some of her relatives. We listened to about a half a dozen of the shows from last year as we were driving here. It made the trip seem so much shorter, and much more pleasant. I was actually annoyed when we arrived because we were just coming to Kevin's review of 9 Dragons in Epcot.

I found this terribly heartwrenching too. To hear him speak of the cruise and the possible "ROAD TRIP" to California next year! As much as I truly enjoyed the podcast, there were times I listened to it and thought, it's just like Bob is still here and then he'd say something about the future, and I'd feel all queasy and unsettled inside again.

Pete you don't know how touched I was that your all carrying on with Bob's recent passing. He seemed to be the kind to want you to move forward. He will be missed so much, but in a way, will always be right there beside you on the podcast. I was so excited this morning when I finally had time to download from itunes and I saw the dis loading. Yours is my all time favorite podcast and seeing it loading this morning was bittersweet. But I'll be honest in saying I've missed you guys a lot! Please get well, in body and spirit.
