Chicago-area Meet

I thought it might be fun to have a meet at Ed Debevic's in downtown Chicago. After tossing the idea around, I am thinking about doing this on June 22nd, and all we really need now is a time. Since they do not take reservations, maybe a mid-afternoon time would be least crowded, thus allowing for us to get more tables close together. We could also make a day out of this with some shopping before, or after.

So let me know if you are interested, and if so how many would come. Also, lets try to pick a time. I am open for anything, so throw some ideas out there and lets see what is best.

Love to, but can't. My sister's wedding is the following weekend, so not only will it be expensive, we will have to be up in that area, which is quite a drive for us. Have fun. Haven't been to Ed's in 15 years!

Would love to come but the 22nd is our annual Family Picnic for my mom's side of the family. Embarassed to admit I've lived here my whole life and never been to Ed's. Been lots of places downtown but never made it to Eds.

I just wanted to add that I have enjoyed going to Chicago DIS meets since my first one in July 2000 at the Rainforest Cafe at Woodfield Mall. :) However, since I live 2.5 hours away in Champaign, and with gas prices so high, it costs a lot more for me to drive up for the day.
