Garden Grocer Produce Quality

How good are their fruits and veggies. Thinking bananas, apples and grapes for fruit and green/red peppers, onions and mushrooms for veggies.

Also I believe I heard bell services won't be able to handle the frozen food, is this correct?

If it matters we are staying at BWV 2br 1st week of June. Thanks in advance for you input.:worship:

We've ordered bananas from Garden Grocer before -- they were fine. I think you can specify on the order form how ripe you want the bananas.

At SSR, anyway, they were able to handle frozen food orders from Garden Grocer. Not sure about the other DVC resorts.

We've ordered apples, oranges and bananas and they were all fine. Bell services took care of our refrigerated items but we've never had anything frozen. I say go for the fruits and veggies for sure.

GG buys your groceries at a store the same as you would. Some popular, non-perishable items are bought in bulk. The time we used them the food had price tags from several local stores.

Bell Services has freezers and refrigerators to store your food.

We ordered
bananas ,green apples , red apples, and
cut up fresh fruit bowls(melons, pineapple, grapes etc). All were delivered in excellent condition . These are for sure on our reorder list for next trip.

We stayed at SSR last week. Bell Services was able to store everything that we ordered. We ordered milk and also some frozen food items.

Good to know on the fruit and veggies, just needed some affirmation on the quality. I will call BWV and ask about the frozen items, I thought I read here that they can't keep the frozen items but it very well could have been something else. Thanks for your replies :worship:

Just an FYI - MS stated (along with others) that BWV bell services can handle frozen items. I must have imagined that they can't :laughing:

Great produce. Really, when you ask for ripe or green bananas, that's exactly what you get. We ordered A LOT of produce and everything was perfect. :thumbsup2
