Do you tan?

my mom is going to go tan 2morrow and she wants me to come with her

well i dont have to tan...lol...thanks to my mom and Dad...lol...my mom does though! b4 our 2000 trip my Mom tanned so much that she was almost darker than my bro and I...we were like you gotta stop now! lol
I really think my mom is beginning to be jealous of me..I dont have to tan and I dont have to curl my hair! lol

so I was just wondering how many of yall tan...so do you??

Well my dad is Irish, so I obviously have some Irish in me. Irish people don't tan very well, so that means I don't. If we go down the shore, my mother will almost be black in about an hour. I won't even be close to as dark as her if I sit out in the sun for 2 weeks. I do burn pretty easily though. I can get burnt pretty good on my shoulders and my face. It does eventually turn to tan, but not that tan.

i tan pretty good and i don't burn that much so thats good but it takes a while for me to get tan

I don't tan (then agian I am a guy so theirfor most guys don't) and personally, I dont like it when girls tan. To me, it looks so fake.

Well my moms side is Swedish and my Dad's side is English... So I have to earn my tan but have semi-long straight hair with a lot of body. My mom is indian from my mom's dad side so she has the tan and her mom is Swedish. She used to tell me my Nanna's family pictures were very well to do and proper kind of people and my Pappy had these people.....indians at the Pow-wow all dirity. So people would come over and laugh at the differance of the family. weird hu?:p

I tan a little bit, but I also burn a lot...so i cant sit in the sun that long with out burning

When I was younger I used to get tan so easily, but I use prescription acne medication for my face which makes you burn within 10 mins if you're not wearing sunscreen. Since I don't want my face to be pale and body to be tan, I just try to stay out of the sun. I look like a total Greek girl (from my dad's side) except I have an Irish complexion lol (from my mom's side).

Wait, tan naturally or in the salon? I've never tanned in a salon, and when I go to the beach, I burn, then a week later look tan!! :rolleyes:

OMG! I am sorry! I read it as "Do You Tan" like in a machine. Yes I tan (non-machine)...but I burn too. ADVICE: Blizard Beach in June is not the best place to be without sunblock for hours on end :rolleyes: :eek: !

ahh this is the ONLY thing i like about myself (totally kidding) but i tan soo easily!! i can go to the beach for one day, be there all day, and come home totally dark! this is so weird cuz neither my mom or my dad tan at ALL. My family is german, and out of the 5 kids in my family, only 3 of us get dark.. it is soo weird! but i also got this weird back disease last summer (mom says its was a fungus but i dont believe her) because i got a really bad burn and it was soo gross! i was looking like a lobster! hehe

I tan pretty well, but sometimes my face will get a little burnt. I only go when we go to Disney :) or some place else warm! The BIG thing to do here right now is to go tanning. I dunno, I don't just cuz it's more fun in WDW! I just think everyone here is tanning because it's still like 30-40 degrees and it probably wont get too warm for a while.

I tan naturally, by just being outside. (I do burn occasionally too, lol.) I never go to tanning salons.

I've got very English skin, so I'm either deathly pale or red and peeling, there's no middle ground :rolleyes:

I was staying at my uncle's farm the last few days, and I spent half an hour outside, in England, in March, and came in all sunburnt. Owww........:(

I literally got through 10 bottles of sunblock in WDW, I had to coat myself in it.

Anyway, to answer your question, no, I don't tan :D

I can't tan at all- it's just sunburn for me! Maybe, if I'm lucky, my sunburn will turn into tan, but that's it!

And as for tanning salons- that's not for me. Soo many people at my school do it, and yea, it looks good now, but what are they gonna look like in 20 years?

I'm really pale, and I burn really easily. last year at least it turned tan after awhile, but it usually peels and gets all gross. Some of my friends go tanning- like in a salon, but i don't really want to. I have used the sunless tanning stuff that comes from a bottle though:D

tons of girls at my school tan...a they all cut out little playboy bunny stickers and put them on their tummy...they look really cute...lol

I dont tan well at all!! I always burn, then sometimes i will tan. I am not allowed to go to the tanning bed.
Alot of people put the little playboy bunnys on at my school too.
