chat login?

Hi everyone - after seeing the post about chat- I just went over to explore a little bit and though there is not a chat at the moment - I tried to login anyway to see what it is like now and it says my username does not exist??

Do I have to login or have a special chat name?

Can anyone help?

I fished this out of the thread about the cruise chatting the other night (so the part where he's in there now is out of date). It explains how it works, though. :)

You have to click the GUEST check box to log in - this isn't tied into the boards database, so your forums username and password won't work.

I'll be in the 'group cruise' room.

There was also some debate as to whether or not we can log in at all when there's no mod on. It wouldn't work the other night for me and some others, but that may have been a different issue; I haven't tried since then.
