My DD is 1 yr old. It is a nightly ritual that she wakes up at least once a night and I rock with her in the rocker/recliner. It is our special Daddy/ Daughter time. Does POR have rockers either in the room or in the main building? If not, does anyone know how much the folding camping rockers cost?

I know that some hotels have rocking chairs in the lobby, which in the middle of the night should be fairly quiet, but it won't be dark. You then have to decide how comfortable you are going down to the lobby.

I am sure others might have a better suggestion.

I've read that there are rockers on the porch of the pool bar at POR but that could be quite a distance from your room. I've seen those folding camp rockers at Sam's. They were Colemans and were very comfy. I think they were about $20. I've thought about taking one of those myself just to have a more comfy chair in the room.:)

If they do not have them at the resort you might want to go out on to 192 to a store called Camping World. It is like Wal-Mart for campers. They have a wide selection of camping chairs...
