Hi ALL!!!
Our wedding was at Sea Breeze Point/ The Attic/ Epcot Upper UK on Monday May 5th at 5PM. 38 guests.
I am officially still getting used to my new last name!!!
We don't have any professional pics yet, but I thought I would post two pics that my father's friend took while Misty was taking pics.
DH and I, with my family (mom and dad on my right, my two aunts, my grandmother and my brother aka groomsman)...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/Aunts1.jpg
And the cake cutting...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/cake.jpg
Vendor Report Card (Because Caryn, Carrie and Cynthia ROCK :thumbsup2 and this would have been beyond helpful if everyone regularly did this in their TR's.)
Welcome/Rehearsal Breakfast - Garden Grove Cafe at Swan Hotel... B+
We had a character breakfast with Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale. The good...All you can eat buffet, for less than $18 pp (even less for kids), everyone had a lot of fun, they were very accommodating and it was a beautiful space. The bad... Our guests had to pay $9 per car for parking, which I was not informed about even though I asked.
Mandara Spa ... A-
My super curly, thick, long hair was washed, deep conditioned, blown dry and flat ironed. Rosa did a phenomenal job. It was the best job anyone had ever done on my hair EVER!
The manicures for me, my 4 BM's and my mom were a little expensive ($40) but, the best any of us had ever had. The pedicures my two BM's and I got were very expensive ($70), but were also the best ever!
We got 20% off of everything by mentioning "Intercot.com". I don't know if they are still honoring that though.
Disney Wedding Team - Pam Pearce, Celeste DiCicco and Linda Rhodes... A+++
Perfect! We couldn't go down for a planning session, but everything they handled was beyond perfection and they all delivered much more than I expected. I dealt with Celeste the most and I was very impressed when I got there and saw how smoothly everything was going. I felt comfortable relaxing and letting her do her job.
Disney Floral - Rose Dizon... D-
I was very disappointed with most of the flowers. Chris' buttonhole was the biggest disappointment, followed by my bouquet, it's only saving grace was that the peonies smelled like heaven. The one thing they did well was the placement of rose petals on the tables at the dinner reception. I will go into further detail about this later, but basically most of what I requested from Disney Floral was well below my expectations. The ONLY reason I am not giving them an "F" is because it was all done via email and phone calls and I am sure that must be difficult for them. I will post comparison pictures showing what I requested versus what I actually got later.
Makeup - Patricia LeJeune ... A++++++++++
I LOVED her! She is so talented, flexible and sweet! More details later.
Photography - Misty Miotto and Nelio (her husband) ... A++++++++++
Everyone LOVED her and Nelio! My bridesmaids were coming out late from Patricia (because of their own perfectionism and some shoe issues) and my Dad was even missing in action for about half and hour and she handled it all beautifully. More later.
Disney Violinist ... C-
We were disappointed. Everyone could definitely hear the violinist, but it just wasn't good. The only reason I am not giving a lower grade is because it may have been due to the fact that I didn't pick the most popular wedding songs. Overall, we regret picking the violinist and wish we had just set up a cd player to play the songs we wanted. She did play all of the Disney songs very beautifully though.
Disney Catering - Food & Cake ...A-
"A" = the food & cake was delicious and everyone raved. "-" = the box for our anniversary layer was sooooooooooo big that the three layers had already slipped off and separated by the time we got to Epcot at 9:00 PM. Of course, we ate it over the next 3.5 days anyway! Seriously dirty cake porn later!
Animal Kingdom Lodge...A++++++++++
DH and I are both huge animal lovers, so needless to say, we were in absolute heaven. We were going to stay in a Savannah View Room for two nights and then a standard room for the last two nights. But at the last minute we decided to pay more to stay in a Savannah View Room anywhere. They tried for half an hour to find us something, but said they were packed. Eventually a manager came out and gave us a room with a view of the Sunset Savannah that ended up being nicer than the main Savannah view, for the price of the standard room. Needless to say, we were on cloud 9 :cloud9:

Thank you ALL so much for the compliments and well wishes! I am uploading some pics into photobucket right now. Once I get them up I will post a little more.
And to all of you future Attic brides, it is gorgeous!!! You and your guests will love it. The pictures on the various websites do not do it justice. Carrie's pictures get close, but it is just so beautiful and comfortable in person. All of our guests thought it was such a romantic setting.
Ohhhh also, please note that the Welcome/Rehearsal breakfast was at The Garden Grove Cafe at the Swan Hotel. I forgot to write that before, but I am going to go back and add it now.

Ok here we go. I apologize for the suspense. And please excuse the fact that there are so few food porn pics. Most of the time when we ate we were both so hungry, I forgot to take pics.
Pre-wedding Restaurants
All- Star Movies Food Court... B-
Before the wedding most of our meals consisted of grabbing something at the All-Star Movies food court. So we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here at least once. It wasn't great, but compared to other powdered eggs at Disney, it wasn't bad. And the Chicken Quesadilla was surprisingly delicious!
Dinner #1 Nine Dragons (China - Epcot)... B-
We had a late seating and saw Illuminations through the windows. The food was good, but we felt rushed. We were a little scared to try new things there, because a few plates passed by that didn't look good. So my FIL and I had Honey Sesame Chicken and DH and my MIL has General Tso's Chicken.
Dinner #3 ESPN Club... A-
We went there in an attempt to see if they were playing the De La Hoya/Forbes fight and they weren't.:sad1: So we were disappointed in that, but the cheese burgers we had were very good.
Dinner #4 Bongos(Downtown Disney)...
Food... A+
The wait was a little long, but the food was delicious. I went there with my Matron of Honor and her husband, one of my bridesmaids, my cousin and my brother and everyone loved it. I ordered Ropa Vieja (shredded beef in some kind of yummy sauce, with rice and sweet plantains) Yummy!
Drinks.. F
The drinks were not as good. They had very little alcohol and tons of sugar. We had mojitos and cosmos. And both were a dozen times sweeter than I have ever had in the NYC/NJ area. This seems to be a recurring theme at Disney. My fingers were tingling all night, and that was kinda scary!
Post Wedding Restaurants
Tusker House (Animal Kingdom Park)...
Food.... A+++++
Soooooooooooooooo yummy! We went there by accident for their lunch buffet, and it was the best accident ever!! We were soaked after riding Kali River Rapids and we were looking for an outdoor eating area and stumbled on Tusker House. We were seated inside and froze our butts off, but we didn't mind. It was worth it. We probably tried everything they had. Hummus ( I am very picky when it comes to hummus- but this was delicious) with pita chips, yummy salads, pork loin, veggie pakoras, cous cous , pomegranate chocolate cake and baklava. Everything was yummy!
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008143.jpg
Drinks.. A+
I think we had a South African beer called Tusker - very good!
Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge)... A
DH had the Filet Mignon - Good but for some reason, we expected it to be better. I had the Halibut, it was delicious.
And this is where we actually got our one and only free anything for being just married! YAY! We got a delicious Chocolate Pistachio Creme Brule.:woohoo:
Plaza Restaurant(Magic Kingdom)... And here we got amazing free Mickey confetti sprinkled on our table! Whoo hoo! But no free desserts. :confused3
Food.... A-
DH had a Turkey club and I had a grilled chicken sandwich, both were good but not amazing.
Ice Cream...A+++++
DH had a sundae with Chocolate Ice Cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream and I had the best Banana Split ever! By the time I remembered to take pics, DH was done and I was almost done.:confused3
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008217.jpg
Beaches n Cream (Beach Club Resort)...B
We shared a ginormous chocolate peanut butter sundae. It would have been better, if we hadn't had the ice cream at the Plaza Restaurant.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Room Service...A++
Best breakfast we had. Real eggs ROCK!:thumbsup2. After ordering from room service on the first morning of our honeymoon, we realized that it was actually more economical to do this. We ordered the Safari platter and shared it and still had food left over!
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008104.jpg
Ohana...F-
The two reasons I didn't give Ohana a grade lower than F- is because I think "F" is actually the lowest report card grade possible AND they gave us an amazing seat to view Wishes from, without us asking. This was officially our worst meal. We were both really looking forward to it and it did taste good, but as the meal progressed and as we drank our drinks (DH had a Pina Colada and I had a Rum Runner - we wanted to be festive:confused3 - again virtually no alcohol, but tons of sugar), we both started to feel sick.
We realized that EVERYTHING (except for the broccoli) was coated (or drowned) in sugar. And it was actually making us nauseous. I stopped eating and drank tons of water and felt better. But DH couldn't drink water because he felt so sick. The minute we got out of the car at Animal Kingdom Lodge he threw up everything in the parking lot.
Next Up... Random pics and trip highs and lows...

Wedding Cake Porn... I took this picture the morning after the wedding, but it actually looked like this when we got on the bus to go to the Dessert Party...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008172.jpg
The more pictures I get to see, the more some of the flowers are growing on me. My bouquet is still the exception....
This was what it was supposed to look like and Rose said that it would...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/peonymix.jpg
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/peonies.jpg
This is what it looked like...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/bouquet.jpg
Don't get me wrong, the bouquet is pretty. But it is hard to be happy with something that was so lacking for the amount of money we paid.
The problems...
- I requested a bouquet of tons of peonies with only 3 roses and 3 sprigs of sage (the numbers, the flowers and the herb had a personal sentimental meaning) and instead I got 4 peonies and a dozen roses and one sprig of something close to sage.
- Only ONE of the flowers in the bouquet was the correct color.
- I honestly didn't expect a bouquet with fake stems. I have been in a few weddings and have NEVER seen bouquet like this. The flowerheads were completed detached from the stems. I am assuming that this is standard to some florists.
- People could see the white goop Disney Floral used to hold the fake stems together. I am sure Misty can photoshop it out of the pics and it is tiny anyway. Yes, you can actually see the white goop in the non-professional pictures.
- Also, the goop wouldn't have been an issue if they had done the 75% ribbon wrap as requested (and as written in the Floral Contract) the wrap was much less than that.
- The bridesmaids rose heads were falling off because they weren't attached to the stems either.
- Some of the gents buttonholes were falling apart too.
- Some of the roses were already wilted and the edges were brown when they were delivered to us.
- I should have brought my own rose petals for the aisle. I expected more for the money and from Rose's description.
It just seemed that Disney Floral kind of slapped the bouquets and buttonholes together at the very last minute.
Will work on trippie soon.

Thank you Carrie! Chris and I are both extremely camera shy (unlike you and Patrick) and we were so worried that we would look ridiculous, but if our friends got such good pictures I am sure Misty's will be even better.
I'm going to have to tell Chris about all of the compliments he is getting. He's going to turn bright red when I tell him you said he looked dashing!

Sorry about your floral disappointment, that is a bummer!

Hi!!! Thank you Sweetie! I am dying for your wedding to take place, I can't wait to see your pics and your handsome little ones.
I hope your floral comes out perfectly! I know Disney Floral can and does do good work. I just think there was a disconnect, because I couldn't go down for a planning session. And I think since I couldn't, I should have kept my floral requests VERY simple (one color, one flower)
This is my FAVORITE meal from Bongos!! DF and I go there a lot (he has Cuban in him..and i grew up in Miami lol) and we love it. The drinks are so-so like you said. But we usually order the pitcher of sangria and I order some sweet plantains and LOVE the ropa vieja....im drooling just thinking about it lol. :thumbsup2
Glad to hear most of the food was yummy...I'm sorry to hear about Ohanas!! Thats one of my favorite places:confused3 ....I can't believe you guys got so sick..Sorry you had such a bad experience. :sad2:
hummmm, when we go back I will have to try the Sangria!
I know, everyone on the boards raves about Ohana, so I was really looking forward to it. And honestly the food was delicious. But I think our reaction to the food is that neither of us eat a lot of sugar. And it was a little shocking how sugary sweet everything was.
Diabetes runs in my family, and I am trying very hard to not get it too, so when I cook/bake I don't add sugar or sugar substitutes to anything. I don't even add sugar to my coffee. And when I drink juice once every 10 years, it is the "No added sugar" kind and I add water to it. The only added sugar I have comes in the form of the occasional glass of wine and my daily dose of dark chocolate. DH only eats sugar just a tad more than I do.
Aww sorry to hear about your DH :sad2:
That sucks. I have never been there before which is odd since I have stayed at the Poly numerous times!! lol.
Now I know NOT to go there. :thumbsup2
It's ok, he felt better after he threw up and I felt better after drinking a gallon of water. :confused3
I think you should try it. Like I said above, it may have just been too much sugar for us, since we limit our sugar in take.
Hey!!! How did I miss this TR?! I've been waiting for it!! :surfweb:
So far everything looks BEAUTIFUL!!! :lovestruc I'm so excited for you! That really stinks about the flowers, though. I wonder what happened with them?? I'm just so glad everything else went well. You looked like a princess!!!
YAY, I'm glad you found it and glad to know someone was waiting for it! Thank you! As I said above, I think part of the problem with the floral was that I couldn't go down for a planning session and I should have just kept it simple.
Yeah Nikki you are married!!!!! :cool1:  :yay: :woohoo:
Im sorry to hear about your flowers but they do look beautiful (i know that's no consollation as to how you felt about it on your special day) but im glad it didnt spoil things for you.

He was wonderful, we had a lot of issues with my MIL being very upset that we chose to not have a catholic ceremony or blessing, but he came in a robe and worked with Chris and I to find a way to incorporate a few catholic blessings into the ceremony. He was great!
The buoquet does look beautiful, but it definately isn't what you requested. Have you contacted Disney Floral to complain??
I love all the pics. OOOhh that little boy is tooo cute!!
Can't wait to read more!
Jennifer
I haven't. DO you think I should? I really think it is mostly my not going down for a planning session.
Can't wait to read more!
Too bad about your floral issues, that must have been disappointing, but on the upside, you GOT MARRIED at Disney World!!!
A magical way to start your lives together!
:goodvibes :goodvibes
I know, I am so thrilled about that. It was truly magical. And you know, right before the ceremony, I told Celeste ( our planner) that I wasn't happy with the flowers, but that it was ok, because they smelled so amazing that it didn't upset me.
Sorry to hear about the flowers but you looked beautiful. I did really like the arch flowers. That was really pretty!! Can't wait to see more!
It's ok. Actually the arch flowers are the ones that are growing on me now. They too are less than I expected based on the pictures I sent Rose and the discussions we had, but they are beautiful in their own way. And atleast it looks like it was put together well. And at least there was no white goop visible!

The ladies...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/maids.jpg
The ringbearer/flowerboy...
He is DH's 5 year old godson. He was hilarious. Right after the rehearsal, Rev. Knox asked if anyone had any questions before he left, 15 adults stood there silently, but he raised his hand. Rev Knox picked him. And then he said, " Can my mommy and I tell jokes after the ceremony?" And then he told all of us a "knock knock" joke. He was awesome!
Then right before he and I were to walk out during the processional, he asked where my flowergirl was and I told him that I didn't have one. So he shrugged and said ok. Then it was his turn to walk up the aisle, the minute he got to the rose petals he bent down and started tossing them over his head and into the audience. Genius! :rotfl2:
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/ringbearer.jpg
Now my favorite picture so far! Again, I am dying to see Misty's pics!
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/pretty.jpg
Now some sadness... I apologize, but I need to talk to someone and DH is sleeping and I can't sleep. So on May 9th (of course Jupiter went retrograde that day) when we were supposed to be heading back home but there were tons of delays and we didn't get home that day, my dad told me that he has cancer - Multiple Myeloma. He knew for a few months, but didn't want to tell me until after the wedding.
He says that with a new stem cell treatment he might live for 5 years and that they would do the treatment again then to add another 5 years. But in the past few days of talking to him and family, my mom and I think that he is not telling us everything and he won't let her go to the doctor's office with him. He and his best friend are acting like he has much less time, like maybe only a few months. And a lot of the information he is telling us is contradictory.
I am so happy he was here to walk me down the aisle, but I am scared that he won't be here much longer.
Everything is so bittersweet right now.
I am really sorry about writing this here. I just don't have anyone else to talk to right now and I need to get it off my chest. :sad1:

Nikki,
I'm so sorry about your dad  Your floral was actually really pretty, even if it wasn't exactly what you asked for. I know how frustrating that can be though when you are paying so much money you just want what you asked for! Did you tell them how disappointed in the flowers you were?

And I agree with Carrie... your hubby is a cutie. ;)
Glad to hear you like Rev. Knox. He seems so at ease with everyone.
And I'm sorry about your dad...
I'm sure it's really hard to think about it now, just keep on praying and enjoy your time with him.
Honestly I can't imagine having to go through this. Think about how much he must love you to hold off this information until after your big day.

I'm so sorry about your dad. I hope they can come up with a treatment for his soon, so he can enjoy your new life.
As for contacting Disney Floral, I would. Sure you didn't have a planning session, but not every bride can afford the trip down there. I'm sure they do lots of weddings with no PS. And you sent her the same pic you posted here, right? even if the bouquet didn't match perfectly, the ribbon wasn't correct, and what was up with all the goo all over the flowers?? That alone would make me complain! I'm sure it was all over your hands and on some dresses! ICK!

Oh nikki....I am so sorry to hear that. Wow...that would be such a heartbreak after such a beautiful event. I am so so sorry you have to go through this, you and your family, and especially your father. You have to admire how much strength it must have taken him to keep that from you before your big day. It was him showing how much he loves you. Don't ever hold it against him...he must love you so dearly to be so unselfish. Wow..I'm crying now! Even if he is hiding the truth from you...and whether he has 5 years or 5 days...love him. Tell him everything you have ever thought or wanted to tell him. Live each day with him as if is were his last. This is your opportunity to really connect with him. Listen to every story he has to tell..ask him every question you have ever wanted to ask...and write it down for your own children. Tell him what you're going to do in your life...tell him when you will be thinking of him. Let him know that even if he is gone in person, you two will always be close in spirit. And remember...every single thing that happens in our lives happens for a reason..even if we are blind to it at the moment.
We are all here for you. Try to stay positive..if only for his sake.

Nikki, I'm very sorry. It's tough when your parents are sick, but even more difficult when you're not sure what's fact.
My father went through a cancer "scare" last year. I say "scare" because he doesn't have it yet, but based on all the test results, they say it's only a matter of time (I've never heard that one before). His heart is also failing, and he needs surgery.
It's *very* scary. When someone has been around your entire life, not knowing what's going to happen next can be terrifying.
I'm getting married in September, I pray every day he'll be there to walk me down the aisle because it's always been his dream.
It must be frustrating that he's waited until now to tell you, but now that you know, you can take advantage of every moment you have.
I really do hope it's five years or more.

I kind of just don't know how to feel. I mean last monday was absolutely the best day of my life so far and then five days later I got the worst news of my life so far. So I go back and forth between being ecstatic and sad. I am at work and I'm fighting back tears, so I think I should write about some happy stuff! I am definitely going to take the advice you all have given me. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry for cutting out and not responding to you all yesterday, I was about to miss my train and had to run!
My dad did give us some good news last night. His Kidney function has improved and is in normal ranges. He hasn't started conventional therapy (combined Chemo + Stem Cell treatment - bone marrow transplant) yet, but he has been taking an alternative medication that a doctor in Africa has been using successfully for a decade now.
When they first diagnosed him he was very close to renal failure (due to the cancer) and the prognosis was 2 months to 1 year (he wasn't telling us that). But apparently the alternative medication (and everyone's thoughts, wishes and prayers) are working. And he will be starting conventional therapy soon.
And he swore that he will keep us informed and he understands that that he doesn't have to deal with this alone.
I can't thank you ALL enough for your support and kind words. I'm going to tell him about all of your thoughts and prayers.

#3. Some of our groomsmen wearing (for hours) the tiaras we gave to their daughters as wedding favors!

#2. The songs DH's bestman started while we were on the bus to Epcot... "If You're Happy and You Know it" followed by "The Wheels on The Bus" and eventually "The Drunks on the Bus Go Round and Round". So much fun! Even my 86 year old southern belle grandmother was singing a long.

#1. Hearing Shannon and Craig's (scottish/canadian's) bag pipes during our toasts! It sounded so amazing! I wanted to go see them entering the Atlantic Dance Hall, but I didn't want to interrupt the toasts.
Honorable Mentions...
DH does the best Donald Duck impersonation ever. So he tried it on some ducks and a bunch of them ran over. So of course I tried to pet them, knowing full well they would bite me and the one in the extreme closeup did! It tickled and he was soooooooo cute!

I think you could still wear a veil. It's just that mine was definitely too long for the amount of wind at Sea BREEZE Point. It was 125" from the top of my head to the end of it.
I don't regret wearing it though. I felt like a fairy princess in it!

:rotfl: That was the best. Nothing better than a beer gutted man walking by your wedding. Love the ducks!!!! I went to Disney in March and stayed at the poly. Most of my pictures were the ducks around our patio. I am a big duck fan especially my Donald Duck!!! Love the ducky pics!!!!
I think he was jogging and got really hot so he pulled his shirt up, but one of our guests actually followed him to get a good pic!

That is good. I wish him the best! So does that mean that they know what he has now?
The heart part, we already knew. His heart goes into a.fib very frequently (so it rushes a lot, to the point where he can't breathe). They need to burn the pathways in his heart that send the blood pumping the wrong way, so it'll start pumping the right way. We're hoping that'll fix a lot of what's wrong with him.

Ohhhhhhhh, I just remembered another best moment honorable mention....
While we were running around taking pics with Misty, a man said "Congrats, we're here celebrating our 37th Anniversary, we wish you the happiness we've had". Then DH replied, " Thank you and congrats to you too, we're working on 1 hour!" I almost died laughing.:rotfl2:

Oh Nikki... between the beer belly guy and the 1hr remark I think you just made me spit my drink...

Yep, it was definitely a very "parent" thing to do and I think a very "man" thing to do! He didn't want to burden anyone and he just wanted to deal with it alone.

Unfortunately right now, with what medical and alternative therapies have to offer for Multiple Myeloma, they don't have a cure. And the most recent 5-year survival rates with treatment are between 35%-50% depending on age, race, gender and other things. Because his is a black, 65 year old male, and potentially decades of contact with asbestos his chance of surviving 5 years is closer to the lower percentage. A super tiny percentage of patients with his profile 10 years if a miracle happens.
What he wasn't telling us was that because of the stage they thought he was in, he could have had as little as 2-12 months. But after taking an alternative med for a month (no medical treatment yet) his lab work has improved and he is in the Stage with the 5 year survival rate.
And maybe in 5 years they will have a cure! Who knows :confused3

Ok... I so wish I had more pictures of the Attic, but alas only TWO out of all of the ridiculous paparazzi (see below) who attended the wedding have actually sent me the photos they took. I'm guessing that they are way too busy working on million dollar deals with People or Star magazine :lmao: But whatever, I love them anyway!
My paparazzi...
This pic is during the cake cutting. Misty had to shoo a few of our guests out of the way a number of times that day!
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/Paparazzi.jpg
Notes for future Attic brides... Our sweetheart table was right behind the paparazzi. There were double french doors that were fully opened in the back and to the right in the pic.
Carrie's (lurkyloo's) pics offer a different setup option. I think our cake table and sweetheart table positions were swapped. You can choose!! The setup we had was the default setup (I think) but we loved it for a few reasons....
1. While seated at the sweetheart table DH and I could see ALL of our guests, inside and outside. Being right next to the opening (on DH's left in the pic below) made it look like everyone was in the one room, from our perspective.
2. We could see the big Epcot golf ball from our seats. And a number of times when we noticed it, we would lean over and whisper to each other how excited we were about the Dessert Party that was still to come and how unbelievable it was that we just got married at Disney!
My dad giving his toast...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/toast.jpg
2. Our cake cutting pics will have Epcot in the background! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/cakeandepcot2.jpg
My brother with the cocktail hour, the cheese, bread and fruit display in the background. This was positioned to my right (when seated at the sweetheart table).
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/Trev2.jpg
My grandmother and uncle with the lounging area and beautiful windows in the background and the incredibly shiny floors Carrie (lurkyloo) raved about!
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/grandma.jpg
My aunt and cousin with our table centerpieces...
It was simple and affordable and everyone loved them. Each centerpiece consisted of a different picture in a different frame, a mini frame with the names of the people or characters, rose petals and a single votive candle. There were 10 frames in all. 6 tables had the wedding pictures of our parents and grandparents, and four had Disney couples (Lady and Tramp, Snow White and her Prince, Belle and The Beast, and our table had Pocahontas and John Smith.)

http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/insideattic-1.jpg
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/centerpiece.jpg
We did NOT stay at the sweetheart table long, we were just there for toasts and food. We spent most of our time on the balcony... Again I saw some of our paparazzi take pictures of the lake, the Atlantic Dance Hall, the Rocking Chairs, DH and I loved and the Boardwalk, but they haven't sent me anything, so this is all I have... It shows the seating and tables, everyone was very comfortable....
My cousin...

The princesses...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/balcony.jpg
My aunt with the violinist and the buffet table in the background before they set out the food.
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/aunt2.jpg
The other thing that pleasantly surprised us was the size and proportions of the two spaces. It was much larger than we expected, especially the balcony. And the 10' ceiling height and large windows were perfect. The space is designed very well. The furniture layout is particularly wonderful because our party of 38 felt intimate and comfortable, but I can easily visualize a parties of 20 or even 60 feeling the same level of intimacy and comfort.

:lmao: :rotfl: That is so funny.
The minute DH and I walked into the space, I felt like I was at your party! It was a little surreal and it took a few moments for everything to sink in. You know, people don't normally look at tons of other brides wedding photos in as much depth to figure out where they want to have their wedding.
Everywhere I went I could picture of all of the recent disbrides... Morocco was yours, Italy was Marci, SBP was Caryn, Wendy and Cynthia, WP and Atlantic Dance Hall was Amanda, etc.... It was so strange (in a good way though). :goodvibes

Thank you. I think they did a great job too, that's why I can't wait to get my hands on their pics. In addition to Misty's many cameras, there are 6 more cameras out there that have hundreds of our wedding pics, maybe dozens of Attic pics on them. But I will be patient.:flower3:

I am going to start a mini Trip Report without pictures. And as I get pics (if I get pics) I will post them.
Day 1 - Thursday May 1st
Our flight was scheduled to leave Newark at 2:10 PM, and since DH and I are both ridiculous, this was our plan...
8:30 - Wake up and get ready
9:15 - Pack luggage into car and check off list
9:25 - Double check that we have everything, especially wedding gown, marriage license, rings
9:30 - Triple check that we have everything, especially wedding gown, marriage license, rings
9:40 - Chase Milhouse (the baby) around the house to get him into the carrying case
9:50 - Drop our 3 pets at their EVIL vet for boarding (more on that later)
10:00 - Take NJ Turnpike towards NYC and hope for no traffic
10:30 - Arrive at Newark Airport, stand in long lines, check in luggage, stand in more long lines, remove shoes, get strip searched, have breakfast and relax for 3 hours
1:50 - Board plane
2:10 - Watch movie on JetBlue, while DH appreciates the extra leg room!
When it comes to traveling, we both have serious issues that stem from two different sorts of dysfunctional families! However, leaving super early was probably the single best planning decision we made during the entire trip.
Anyway, this is what actually happened...

10:00 - Take NJ Turnpike towards NYC and hope for no traffic
Everything was going perfectly, until...
10:10 - We notice an overturned SUV in the Northbound truck lane and cop cars and ambulances, but no traffic
10:11 - We hope the person in the car is ok and we zip by feeling lucky that there was no traffic
10:25 - DH exits NJ Turnpike at Exit 13A-Airport
10:26:01 - I shout "HOLY CRAP"
10:26:02 - DH swerves
10:26:05 - I very calmly inform DH that we HAVE to go back home, because despite the gazillion scheduled luggage checks, I somehow managed to FORGET MY *&$%(#& WEDDING GOWN!
10:30 - DH enters NJ Turnpike at Exit 13A going South
10:40 - We hit a little TRAFFIC near Exit 11 caused by the over turned SUV, but we notice that cars in the Northbound lanes are virtually parked
10:55 - Exit NJ Turnpike at Exit 9- New Brunswick
11:00 - Retrieve wedding gown and apologize to DH for forgetting the gown
11:05 - Take back roads I think I had gotten lost on in the past to find the entrance to Exit 11, hoping that we will be entering past the accident
11:40 - Get lost behind Woodbrige Mall
12:00 - Take NJ Turnpike at Exit 11, a little traffic but not bad
12:20 - Arrive at Newark Airport, stand in long lines, check in luggage, stand in more long lines, remove shoes, get strip searched, scarf down Nachos for breakfast, relax for 10 minutes
1:50 - Board plane
2:10 - Watch in horror as DH squishes my huge dress into overhead compartment, listen as older ladies nearby scold him for not being gentle, :lmao: and watch 27 dresses on JetBlue while DH appreciates the extra leg room!
Whew...
The rest of the day was mostly uneventful...
We arrived at MCO, rode Magical Express, then checked in at All Star Movies, had dinner at Nine Dragons with DH's parents, and went to our separate rooms.
I was staying with one of my BM's whose flight came in at 10 PM, but she didn't get to All-Star Movies until 2 AM because Magical Express apparently isn't all that "magical" at night. They also lost her luggage and she finally got it the next day at 3 PM!
Next up... Day 2... Hair/Makeup Trial with Patricia LeJeune (I do have pics of this) and Animal Kingdom

I am very glad I didn't ship it, but honestly my decision to not ship it was based on the alignment of planets at the time and my birth chart. If I had shipped it, I think I would have been worrying the entire time it was away from me. But that's just me. Murphy's Law is almost always in effect with Pisceans, and DH and I are both Pisces.

LOL, this goes back to the answer above, if we had been any other astrological sign, we might have been really upset. But we're used to chaos so we laughed the whole way through. We happily listened to Howard Stern going and coming and going again.
Have you ever gotten lost back there? I think we got lost somewhere in Fords. We've lived in the area for two years and I constantly get lost everywhere!

Other than the fact that you forgot it, are you glad that you brought in on the plane instead of shipping it? I'm debating both options. Did security give you a hard time?
I can't wait for Misty pics!
Oh I forgot... Security didn't give me a hard time at all. They told me to lay it flat on the x-ray conveyer belt. They didn't even open the dress bag. And the flight attendants just laughed while DH stuffed it in the overhead.
No one gave me a hard time.
A lot of people going and coming congratulated us. AND when we first entered the Security area, the guy who first took our ID and boarding passes scrutinized them. Then asked why we were going to Florida and looked very mean, but when I held up my dress and said that we were going down to get married at Disney World he smiled and handed our passes and ID's back. I think he changed his mind about giving us a hard time because of the dress!

Just found your TR
Everything looks beautiful (despite the not perfect flowers)
Ok, I want to give you some hugs for you and your family. My dad died 13 yrs ago from leukemia and I know how hard the battle is to watch although ours was a short 6 weeks. My advice is to be there for everything you can.
Now on to my FIL. He was diagnosed with MM 1.5 yrs ago. He was borderline for being able to do the stem cell transplant since he was 70 but with the treatments prior he was able to pass the tests in the end. He had his transplant at Vanderbilt last spring. He is doing very well and we are so thankful. He still gets those treatments to coat the bones ( I forget what it's called) and does well. I'm so glad your dad is within the requirements now. Keep strong and have faith. FIL is doing so well he can sit the grandkids and that means able to play with a 3, 4 and 5 yr old. Everyday is a gift.

If they do give you trouble... make sure you tell them you're getting married at Disney! Everyone at the airport who could have given us trouble, with a mean grumpy face, brightened up when we told them.

I wanted to give you more hope with the information the drs gave you by telling you about my FIL. He is a real person who has been thru the process and is a success story. Your attitude is so important. We also learned not to read too much on the internet. You have all these people who respond different I know but I will have to say FIL didn't miss 3 meals the whole time he was at Vandy. He lost his hair but not his appetite( a huge plus). He is feeling well enough now that he is building a new house (and helped DH pull wire 2 weeks ago)
Oh and I forgot to mention my boys dentist. He has been a MM survivor for over 10 yrs and works everyday.
I want you to feel confident that with the new treatment your dad is doing is a huge plus.
I will keep him in my prayers.

With all of the chaos of Day 1, I needed to relax and I was very glad that I had booked my hair/makeup trial with Patricia for that morning. DH was running errands and trying on his tux most of the morning.
MW Tux... A-
Because the men in our bridal party were from ALL over (The Bronx, Brooklyn, Central Jersey, Jersey Shore, Delaware and North Carolina) and arriving on 4 different days, we decided to go with MW Tux. I was scared, because of the reviews I had read on these boards, but all in all we had a good experience. I forgot to put them on the vendor list.
- DH and FIL were measured in NJ, and their tuxes were delivered to ASMo. Friday morning they tried them on and they were perfect! If they did not fit MW Tux would have returned with the corrected suits later that day or on Saturday.
- Everyone else picked their suits on Thursday and Friday at the MW TUX near them and brought them as carry ons.
- MW Tux picked up ALL of 7 tuxes at the concierge desk at ASMo the morning after the wedding.
- The only confusion was when MW TUX wrongfully shipped GM Delaware and RB Delaware's tuxes to Disney. They were not arriving until late on Saturday, so if there were any problems with the tuxes, they would not have been able to get it fixed. But Julie Mischa at MW Tux Orlando was great and she overnighted their tuxes back to Delaware and they were able to pick them up before they left.
Patricia LeJeune... http://www.lejeune-pca.com/
Patricia arrived a few minutes before 10. I hugged her, because I had emailed her non-stop in the months leading up to the wedding, asking billions of questions, and I felt bad. My hair is super curly, long, and super thick and in the past hair stylists have actually quit midway through trying to style my hair. So I was very scared :scared1:. But every email I sent, she responded to very warmly and reassured me that she would do everything she can to take care of me. She even said that she would stay ALL day for no extra charge.
She ended up only spending 2 1/2 hours with me. I had sent her dozens of pics and she knew that I wanted a natural romantic look. And once she was there she asked to see my dress and I explained that the overall look we were going for was Lord of the Rings/Enchanted Forest. Ridiculous! She laughed and told me how not ridiculous that was and told me about weird weddings she had attended. I am super shy! But she was very nice and very easy to talk to!
YAY Patricia!

Costco Saves Big Bucks!!!
DH picked up the rental car and ran to Costco with his dad and bought beer, wine, and two cases of water. I am so glad he did this, it saved so much money!!! :cheer2:
We bought the Disney Dining Experience card and tried to eat at restaurants that accepted it. Throughout our honeymoon, in preparation for dinner we would relax and drink lots of wine. Then at dinner we would only order a glass each. It saved us a few hundred dollars doing it this way.
Also, we never bought water in the parks. I carried a few bottles of our Costco water everywhere (considered it exercise). That saved some money too! :cheer2:
Animal Kingdom Fun
After the hair/makeup trial and the Costco Run, we went to Animal Kingdom! It was a small group since none of my family arrived until Saturday, it was just DH and I, the in-laws, MOH and her husband and a bridesmaid.
It was so much fun, especially because the BM India had NEVER been to Disney before and the first ride we went on was Kali River Rapids. She kept asking if there were real temples that people actually used. She said that EVERYTHING Indian at Animal Kingdom looked really authentic. She was impressed.
These are the only pics I have from that trip.
Monkey Non-Vendor Review... A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ :thumbsup2
I LOVE Monkeys! And the Animal Kingdom Monkeys rock! There was a baby monkey swinging around like crazy and he was so fun to watch. He/she was the highlight of Day 2! In most of the pics I have of him he is a blur. In this pic you can see his hands hugging the center tree to the left of the big monkey. Go Monkey Go!

Did you know that the average adult owl only weighs 2 lbs!!???
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008141.jpg
FIL and MIL left after only 2 hours (MIL gets hot and overcome by the heat very easily) So the rest of us went to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. Even though there is one at Menlo Park mall, really close to where we live, I had never been to one and I don't think I need to ever go back.
We all had some form of burger. DH and I had BBQ burgers, BM India had a veggie burger, and MOH and hubby had a cheeseburgers. They were average and pricey. We got a 10% AP holder discount. And i loved the thunderstorm the first time. BM India and I ordered a chocolate cake to go and ate it when we got back. That was delicious.
The Forgotten Phone Charger
I swear it wasn't me this time.
On the way back to ASMo, DH realized that his phone battery was dying and realized that he had forgotten his charger in NJ, so we headed to Best Buy. We went to three different stores and no one had it. He ended up getting a super cool new phone at a Verizon store, because upgrading was freer than buying a charger.
When we got back to ASMo DH's GM North Carolina had arrived with his fiance and her daughter. GM North Carolina is the one in the tiara in my Top 10 List.
So DH and I waited by the ASMo pool. It was freezing and to make it worse we were drinking beer, so the minute he arrived, I said " Hi, I like your shirt, see ya!" and ran back to my room.

Schedule Schmedule
Before our trip I sent a schedule out to some of the key people attending, including my Mom. The schedule was really just OUR (DH and I) schedule and it was just to inform everyone of when we were arriving and where we planned on going each of the 4 days before the wedding. There was NO pressure to do any of these things with us, BUT if they did want to hang out with us, they would have to do what we wanted to do. The newsletter I had sent out months before that, begged people to arrive on Thursday May 1, and let them know that if they wanted to hang out with us, it would have to be before the wedding. Also, please note that before I made the newsletter or schedule I asked most of our guests what they would want to do and EVERYONE said, "I will do WHATEVER you two are doing!!!"
So, apparently few (especially on my side) read the newsletter or the schedule. DH and I arrived on Thursday, so EVERYONE in my family arrived on Saturday. And EVERYONE in my family stayed at Bonnet Creek, not a Disney Resort. My dad has a time share so I don't blame him for using it.
The phone calls began while DH and I were in Magic Kingdom. EVERYONE in my family wanted me to go to Bonnet Creek and didn't understand when I said "NO, we are at MK, per our schedule, you all are welcome to join US!" Their response was, "But, we're going to MK the days after your wedding, can't you just come to MK with us then."
These conversations continued through the night of our wedding until I finally hugged everyone and said "BYE, we are on our honeymoon now."
Anyway, between the many phone calls, DH and I accompanied by the group that did read the newsletter and schedule, went to...
Magic Kingdom
Once again, please excuse the lack of pictures, this is all I have right now...
DH's favorite ride... Splash Mountain, just before the Splash!

http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/WeddingTripMay2008196.jpg
We went on everything a couple of times, the longest we waited on line was 15 minutes for Space Mountain.
After a long day at MK, DH and I went to ESPN Club at the Boardwalk, hoping that ESPN would show some HBO boxing... Oscar De La Hoya vs Steve Forbes. No such luck, but it was nice having some alone time with DH and the burgers we had there were delicious!
After dinner, we took a walk to Sea Breeze Point. This was the first time we had ever seen it and we were both so happy we picked it. It was better than in the pictures. And as I had posted somewhere else, there were thousands of Gardenias in bloom, lining the two curved paths to the gazebo. It smelled like heaven!
We stood there for a while and talked about how amazing and strange it was that we were getting married at Walt Disney World. We were soooooooooooooo excited!

New bouquet, albeit 3 weeks after the wedding
So after returning from our wedding, and dealing with weeks of lingering sadness over my disappointment in Disney Floral, I realized that we have PEONIES in our yard. We bought the house late last summer/ early fall, so it was a great surprise when they started blooming two weeks ago.
So not to beat a dead horse, but the following are pics of the "real" bouquet...
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd199/hope1826/bouquet.jpg
the bouquet Rose said she was going to create for me...

and my attempt at a photoshoot of the bouquet I made this weekend...

Now I feel a little better. I also complained in the post wedding survey and I'm going to try to file a formal complaint. I realized this weekend that Rose also charged me for things that were supposed to be in the bouquet that she just completely left out. :headache:

I know, I was kind of shocked that they kept insisting despite my multiple detailed explanations that we couldn't just abandon the other half of our guests who did read our schedule and booked their trips as we recommended.
I'd be interested to find out if this has happened to any other destination/Disney brides.

My family LOVED Bonnet Creek. I can ask my mom to send me some pics for me to post. It is VERY close to Epcot, maybe a 2-3 minute drive. I honestly don't know if they have shuttles to and from the Parks, because my family had rental cars. But they absolutely loved it. I think that was part of why they wanted us to come over so bad.
YAY I am enjoying your TR so far!! I am glad you gave MW an A- we are going to use them too!!
I was seriously relieved. I had read such terrible reviews about them, but they did a great job for me. I hope they do an even better job for you!

Thank you Sandy! I think peonies are addictive. My mom had them in our yard when I was growing up and there was never any doubt that when I got married that is what my bouquet would be. I think that's why I am so disappointed by what I ended up with.
Asking for a bouquet of a dozen or more peonies with only 3 roses and getting a bouquet of 4 peonies and 14 roses was a little jarring. I felt like Rose really didn't care. She was also very hard to get a hold of during our planning process. It took her two months to respond to one of my emails. :headache:
I'm sure Laura will be better. I can't wait to see your bouquet.

Thank you! I think that's part of why I was so disappointed by Rose. I expected so much more from her.
I may be way off base here, but your disney bouquet doesn't look too far off of the pic you gave them. What about it disappointed you?
Yikes! There was so much wrong with it. Besides the visible white goo holding the fake stems together and the wilting and brown roses, Rose charged me for a more expensive bouquet than she acutally made.
I requested (and Rose had it accurately in the description she wrote in the Final Floral Breakdown), a peony bouquet (15 or more) with 3 roses and 3 sprigs of sage. The number of roses and sage was symbolically very important to DH and I. She charged me $25 alone for the sage. There was NO sage in the bouquet.
And peonies are more expensive than roses. And she charged me for a bouquet of 15+ peonies, but gave me less than half of that with 15+ Roses.
So the symbolism that was intended (and that I had discussed with her) was completely lost.
In addition to that. DH's boutenierre was the smallest of all of the gents, because they used two spray roses instead one large rose and one spray rose (as requested and in the Final Floral). AND right after the ceremony, we had to pin one of the spray roses directly to his jacket, because it fell of during the ceremony.
ALSO, the heads of the roses FELL off of some of the bridesmaids bouquets before we even got to the ceremony. Those bouquets were all safety pinned up. We shouldn't have had to worry about that 10 minutes before the ceremony.
All of the bouquets and boutenierres looked like they had been made from flowers they picked out of the garbage, or they made them days before the wedding and had them sitting there wilting, especially my bouquet. You couldn't put it in water, because there were no real stems.
 :headache:
i was pleased with the floral for the alter and the tables though! :yay:
Making the new bouquet and taking pretty pictures of it was very theraputic. It makes it easier to ignore Rose's bouquet. I am so grateful though that floral was the only thing that went wrong.
Sorry for the super long repeated rant. :goodvibes

any news on your misty pics??
Misty is still working on them. :worried: but I am ridiculous!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK, I am such an impatient idiot! Because I have been checking her site EVERY day, a million times per day, since we got home, I accidentally logged into my gallery using one of the many passwords I tried. Once you use the password at a computer, you are automatically logged in to that gallery every time you go back. So I don't even know what password I used. And every day when I go back into the gallery, she has deleted or added pics or enhanced some.
Anyway, DH and I saw the pics. :yay: I expected a lot from Misty, but I think she easily went well beyond those expectations. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them and I'm dying for her to finish up and give me the password, so that I can share them with you all.

The bouquet you made is so pretty; I'm glad that you felt better after making it. Looking forward to reading the next installment.
Thank you Vanessa!! LOL, I was actually thinking about you and all of the stuff you made for your wedding when I made the new bouquet. I kept thinking... "I can do it! Vanessa made millions of things, so I can do it too!!!"
I can't wait to see how your at home reception turns out. I'm sure it will be great!

Thank you!! Did you find a photography yet? I hope you do find someone awesome. I would have changed my date to get Misty, the Roots or Randy!
I see you cart-jacked a bellman.... what a sweet ride! :rotfl2: OMG that was the most fun picture!! :cool1: DH and I had never been to the BWI so we really did not know where to take pics, so we just let Misty take us wherever she wanted. And as we were walking to the front (a little before we ran into Shannon's mom and dad) Misty grabbed one of the carts and said "hurry, jump on this before they start chasing us". I thought she was kidding, but they really did chase us!:lmao:
Oh, Nikki!! I've been staring at the first one with you two sitting in the wicker chairs, kissing, and I'm having trouble getting past that one! I love it! Thank you!!! Did you ever get through them. Once I get the cd, I will post our favorites in the TR, so that you gals don't have to look through a ton of the same pics.
Oh you look so beautiful!!! Wonderful photos. I'll definately have to make time to sit and view them all in the next day or so (but going out of town and have to pack tonight, :( )

Gorgeous pictures Nikki! You must be so happy with them! :thumbsup2
Thank you!!! We love them! ANd I'm so relieved. We were worried they would come out bad, because we were both super hot and I felt like I was going to pass out through all of the running around for pics. It was only about 85 degrees, which isn't awful but I grew up in NY and DH in NJ. Eeeek, when we left for the trip it was about 50-60 degrees in NJ and when we got back it was around 40 degrees. We felt like we were on fire and melting.
Beautiful! The pictures were DEFINITELY worth the wait!
YAY! Thank you. I think so!

Thank you!! I think the one with the kids is our favorite too. The little boy was our ring bearer and he was awesome. All of the little girls loved him. I can't wait to see your Misty pics! Did she do your engagement pics? They were beautiful. I love her work too!
loving the photos!!!! worth the wait i think.
I'm so excited now for mine!
What menu did you pick for your dessert party? the food looks fab
Thank you!! We didn't pick a buffet. We just had the chocolate fondue add- on by itself. It was milk chocolate and white chocolate fondues, with lots and lots of stuff to dip - bananas, strawberries, brownies, sponge cake, pretzels, marshmallows, etc. It was so yummy and it was way more than enough. They raised the price to meet our DP minimum.
I'm excited for your pics too!! I wish I had been able to book her for more time, I'm excited to see what she will do for you.
I know right!! I love that picture!!!
Nikki your pictures are gorgeous, she did a great job!!! you and your husband are adorable!!!!!!!
Thank you Lynn!
Love, love, love your photos. I'm so glad we have Misty booked for our wedding.
Thank you!!! You will love her!!! I was really scared about photography, because DH and I are both shy and we HATE taking pictures!! But I think she did an amazing job despite our ridiculousness! I just can't wait to see what she'll do for all of you Misty brides!

Thank you!!! Her style is very similar to Randy. But Im so happy we hired her. I honestly think I would have been even more shy if a man had been behind the camera. :confused3

Thank you!! I'm glad you picked Misty too! I can't wait to see your pics. You two are going to look gorgeous. And you have to make sure Misty takes pics of you two playing ping pong!

Thank you, Cam!! We are so happy and relieved Misty did such a good job. We thought our shyness would ruin the pics, and I wish some of the floral was better, but I think Misty did an amazing job. I saw in your PJ that you were able to book Randy for your DP. Congrats!! Did you book him for your ceremony too?

Nikki -- I know you were worried about whether your shyness would impact on the pictures, but I think everyone would agree that if there was any shyness there, it really doesn't come through that way. There is a really sweet feeling that comes through, not just in the way you and Chris look at each other, but even in how you look at the camera. I really do mean it when I say that is what jumped out at me. I think Misty captured your personalities and even those of us who don't really "know" you two, feel like we do from all the sweet smiles and loving looks that are captured. (sorry, I didn't mean to go on and on, I was just really impressed with your pictures!)
Oh, and to answer your question, "yes" ( ;) ) Randy is doing our dessert party Sunday night and the ceremony and reception on Monday. The only piece of it he isn't covering (sad, but necessary) is our MK photo shoot the morning of the ceremony.

Thank you!!! I actually spent most of the weekend and past week avoiding the disboards so that I could pick. It took forever, but I finally got selected everything and sent an email to Misty with the invoice number. I can't wait to get the actual prints!!!

Thank you Cam, that makes me feel better. It's funny because I can totally see where DH and I are being shy in the pics. But it's wonderful to know that that is not what comes through to others.
And I am dying to see your pics! That's so cool that you have him on two different days. Your renewal will definitely be an event!

Thank you Nicola!!! I told DH that you said he could be a model and he blushed!!:) That's exactly what I told him when we first saw the pictures.
I have to find time to finish my TR, but once that's done, I should have a slideshow with Misty with 60 of our favorites. Hopefully, I will be able to post that in just a few weeks!

Thank you! I'm glad you like them!! Did you enjoy the pics of the Attic?? If you do definitely book the Attic, make sure you ask them to leave the the big carosel horses in the space. You can see them in Carrie's (lurkyloo's) pics. But at our wedding I noticed Misty running around looking confused and frustrated. She was trying to find the big horses and they weren't there! They had a tiny one on the buffet table, but that was it. I didn't even think to ask for them, because I thought they were just part of the space. :confused3

Love your pics! You are such a stunning bride! I will be afraid to post my pics after seeing all you gorgeous ladies!
I am so torn between having or reception in Italy Isola or at the Attic. And your pics make me even more torn. It will also depend on where they want to put us incase of bad weather.
Also love your ring pillow. I think our colors will be brown & pink so I need to come up with something awesome like that.

How many quests do you anticipate? I think the back up for Epcot locations is the American Adventure Parlor, if the group is small (less than 60 or so). I think Cseca (Cynthia) had her reception there and the space looked gorgeous. It's much smaller than the American Adventure Rotunda (where Vanessa- FigmentFan) had her ceremony.
You can totally steal my ring pillow idea. It was so easy to make. :goodvibes

Just thought I would jump in and add that we used the Living Seas and we only had 50 guests. We were originally scheduled for the Parlor, but it is a really tight squeeze at 50. The Rotunda is pretty big depending on your party's size; for our ceremony we just filled up the center :)
