Beach club concierge

I just booked my room for August. We will be staying at the Beach Club on the concierge floor. I believe I have a waterview. My question is do these rooms have a balcony that is usable or is it just the small ones? Is there a room I should request? I will be with my husband and 3 sons.I can't wait! My husbands question,does anyone ever get upgraded to a suite? thanks for all the great info!

Not all of the rooms have a usable balcony. If that is important to you, you need to request one. Otherwise you may get the small "standing room only" type.
Getting upgraded to a suite would be highly unusual. Of course you never know when pixie dust might come your way!
Have fun! I think the planning is half of the enjoyment of the trip!

The full balcony was very important to my DH and our 3 sons. We chose the YC concierge to ensure a full balcony. We had a wonderful view of the lake, Boardwalk, part of SAB, and the fireworks from Illuminations every evening. I would request a full balcony, with 3 boys it was very nice to have.:) Some of the rooms at the BC are undersized, smaller than the 380 Sq Ft. With 3 boys I would also request a full size room, this was another reason we chose the YC over the BC. Having said that, I can't wait to try the BC. Enjoy your stay.
