Welcome to the disdvc! This is a great resource of info on DVC. I read everything I could before deciding to buy some points resale. I spend most of my time on these threads and a day doesn't go by that I don't learn something!

Don't be afraid to ask questions; there are a lot of people here that are so willing to help and know the system inside and out.
