I was looking around and realized that there is no one thread that lets us list our accomplishments on our weight loss journey so I thought it might be nice to start one....besides I have a bit of bragging to do :cool1: so I'll start.

My first brag is that I ran 1 contiguous mile (finally) this last week which is a very big deal for me. I have been working my way up it for a very long time so I'm happy that I finally made it.

My second brag is that I went shopping in the misses section of stores this week. :woohoo: While it is only for tops (alas my butt is the big part of me) it made me feel pretty good.

I know I have a lot further to go to get to where I want to be but it's nice to see significant results. Thanks for listening and helping me get here.

Great idea for a thread. Congratulations on your running and new clothes. It is such a great feeling to go down a size.

I have been exercising at least 4 days, mostly 6 days a week since january 1st. It is the longest time I can ever remember that I consistently have exercised. I hope it is the beginning of a more active rest of my life. I haven't been successful in losing weight this year, but have been maintaining within a few pounds, so I'm happy with that too.

Great idea...everyone needs a pat on the back once in awhile. In addition to my WW, I started a daily exercise routine a little over a month ago (something I have never done before). I bought two of the Leslie Sansone DVDs and just love them. I now do the 3 mi. walk away the pounds, with arm weights every night. I also add in a set of toning exercises every other night. In addition to the pounds I have lost...... I have lost 4 inches in my waist! I can easily fit into my size 6 jeans!!!!:cool1:

just does not seem to want to
move these days.

Congrats everyone!!! Great stories here!

Today I'm down 25lbs! I just ran(actually race-walked most of it) the Minnie 15K! The furthest distance I've gone so far. I've got the Disney 1/2 Marathon on my Radar for this upcoming January.
