Well it may have changed since someone said they do photographs now which they'd like you to buy, but when we went in February you didn't meet cinderella until you'd started eating.

Oh, cant you take photos with your own camera?

I thought it be like CRT in WDW where you meet her before hand.

You can certainly take photos with your own camera in the restaurant, I'm sure you don't have to buy the official ones.

From what I understand, its a character meal, so yes, the princesses who are there at the restaurant will each come to your table and spend time with you and your children. You won't pay for DD's meal either as she is under 3, so I guess it just then depends if you can persuade your husband that the cost of the 2 adult meals is worth it for the experience, or if you maybe think your daughter might get a bit more out of it if she's a year or so older (ie another reason to go back to DLRP in a year or so?)

Elaine

Oh i think i may deffo go now, as Kyra will still be 2 and will get to eat for free lol.

When we went in April, she was at the front of the restaurant, posing for pics. You can use your camera as well but they did bring their pics to you at your table, hoping you'd buy them. She didn't go round to other tables - only the other princesses did (we had Sleeping Beauty, Ariel & Snow White).

Things might well have changed now... again.. lol.

I'm afraid you do pay for under 3's meals, we had to pay for DD in February. I think it's only buffet meals where you don't pay.

It seems to vary which Princesses are there. Belle is sometimes there along with others.
When we went (soon after it changed to a character meal) as well as the 2 mice and Fairy Godmother we met Sleeping Beauty and Ariel with Princes. Snow White was also there with Prince but she didnt come to our table as she was at the other end of the restaurant.

Just wondering about Belle as ive not seen any pic of her there, Kyra adores her so maybe i'll get lucky and she will be there.
Any sightings of Jasmine in there? lol

My daughter & husband were there on Wednesday. She saw the 2 mice, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Prince Phillippe & Le Prince (don't know which one he was!). Previously we have also met Princess Minnie & Ariel. We have met Belle each time we were there & the mice are always there.

I had lunch there on Friday. You meet cinderella as you enter and you can take your own photos and then also buy the ones the staff take, we paid 25 euros for a nice sized photo in a princess frame and it also came with 6 smaller sized photos. we actually didn't have that good a time there, we saw suzy and perla lots they are always wondering round. we had actually been there an hour and belle appeared and didn't have time to get to us, then snow white was announced but about half an hour had gone and we hadn't seen her either. we were sat in a corner at one end of the restaurant. we actually complained to the guy who looks after the princesses and he was english and we did then have great interation with belle, snow white and the two princes, but i think if we hadn't of complained i do wonder if we would of actually seen any princesses. it was only the two there that day, my oldest daughter loves aurora and had her dress on so was a bit dissapointed about that. if it all goes to plan, even with it being quite expensive the food is nice and it really is a nice experience, it was just unfortunate for us it wasn't that great.

Sorry you didn't have a great time. Were you seated in the room at the far end from the dancefloor? I know it was very busy when we were there and I think some people in that room were saying they hadn't seen much of the princesses. We were lucky we saw them all twice.
I wonder if the kid's menu has changed at all since they were doing a survey on this outside when we went in February? Was the starter still tomato and mozzarella salad?

it is such a funny starter, slices of tomatoe and some balls of cheese!!! my daughter liked the chicken meal and the dessert but wouldn't touch the starter but my husband found it very yummy!!!!

yes we were sat at the far end past the dance floor on the bottom level the last table right in the corner!!

when the princesses were brought to us it was lovely, because the guy was english he made sure we had lots of photos and time with them, and snow white was english so had a good chat with her. it was really nice the setting and food, just had a few faults which we didn't like to moan about but it did come to that. it was actually the only thing that went wrong the whole trip, everythig else was fantastic.

I do think it's an unsuitable starter for young children, the 2 plates from our table certainly weren't the only ones to go back untouched! But our two wouldn't manage 3 courses anyway, and had already wolfed down a delicious bread roll so their tummies weren't missing out, just our wallets!

even though our experience wasn't the best when my daughters did see snow white you can see by the photo just how fantastic it was.

Yes I can see they liked it just a bit! My DD (3) hasn't stopped talking about seeing Aurora since February so we feel we have to go back next week!
