haha i knew that would get y'all to float over this thread and read the little bit of info.

so today in phys. ed. i dislocated my kneecap. it hurt soooooooooo bad! i mean the worst pain ever!! i have to wear a brace now and it has to be on for 4-6 weeks or until i finish physical therapy. AND best of all.....i have cheerleading tryouts this coming weekend (y'know, not tomorrow, but the weekend AFTER that) i dont even know how to feel about it, it is the worst thing that could happen.

so what i was really getting to.......What are some of the worst injuries that you've had during, because of, or not even related to, sports??

^^if that even made sense. what i mean is what are your worst injuries, sports reelated or not.

My worst injury is when I slammed the car door on my hand. (Don't Ask.) My fingernails were like bruised up underneath them and like one of them like had to regrow to look normal. & there's alot of other bloody details but I'm not in the mood to include them. :/

i had to get 87 stitches once, and i was bedridden for three weeks.

My exboyfriend had some awful sports injuries though. Hardcore soccer player. He tore the ACL in his shoulder once. and he's STILL a gk.

Knee replaced. Actually, from mid thigh to mid shin/calf is ALL metal.
Broken collarbone.

Edit : I'm not a pegleg. I meant instead of bone.

my friend had his ankles crushed in a dirtbike accident, and he was describing the surgery to fix it to me, and I thought about your knee.
random, i know, but you just made me think about it again.

I was talking to my PT about how I needed pain killers at night because it hurts so bad. He goes 'No wonder. In school I had to watch a hip and knee replacment, and if you saw what they did to your leg, you'd be asking for pain killer just watching it!' :scared:
