Friday day 9 28th March
Today was SW day and the Luau at night, I was up around 8, we had breakie in the room before getting a taxi to SW, we arrived at SW a little after 9, first up was get the park map with show schedule so we could plan our day, we hit Kraken first and a joy as always no reride though as the line was getting big even this early, I wanted to do JTA but no one else wanted to get wet even although it was already very warm, so after a sulk and a rant about being spoiled and taking things for granted we ended up at the Seal enclosure

Then the penguin encounter then some shopping, we then caught the Blue Horizon show which we all like

We then had lunch at the Seafire Inn, although I went to the Spicemill for my sandwich to eat with rest in Seafire Inn, we then caught the street show outside which was pretty funny

And we then headed into see Clyde and Seamore which was good as usual with the mime in fine form

After Clyde I could smell the free beer calling to me so off we went to the hospitality centre where a few complimentary beers where consumed the kids and wife had to pay for their juice and we did shelter inside from the heat, DS then wanted to try the arcade so off the kids went and DS returned with a Shrek which he had win at Basketball

We had a wander before Believe started and took our seats 40 mins early the stadium was already getting filled up, we enjoyed the babies before the show as the kept splashing the guy selling the towels, every time the saw the guy the chased him and splashed him and the more he ran the more they chased I think they thought he was a trainer using the towel as a training tool as on our tour last year they told us they used cuddly toys of Shamu to use in their training it was pretty funny to watch as this poor guy was absolutely soaked

We enjoyed the show and then we did some more shopping, we spotted a lovely crystal frame with a gold dolphin embossed on it and as our neighbours kid is getting married in May we thought it’d make a nice present, but the assistant said they didn’t have any boxes for it which I thought was strange so we told him to forget it, but in the big emporium at the front of the park we saw it again I queried if they had a box for it and they did so we got it from there, proving the other assistant was just too lazy, we then just meandered through the park, and I believe the hospitality centre was on the meander as well

We arrived at the Luau late as usually it takes about 20 mins to get in, but this time everyone was seated, our server got us our free drinks and the kids juices, the Luau was great as usual, we had a good table front and centre and the food was delicious as well, DS got a candle in his desert as a celebration of his birthday, the main cast had changed from our last few visits but they where still good

After the Luau we decided we where all to tired to stay till Mystify so we finished off our day at SW with buying some fudge and sweets for back in room, we got a cab back and watched a DVD DS had bought at Walmart it was called MR Woodcock and was pretty amusing, all in bed for midnight after a long but nice day

You should post a separate review w/ pix of the Luau on the parks board...a lot of people are planning summer trips and asking about it....

(we've never been....so, I'm no help to them :headache: )
