I have only done it 3 times so far but have gotten all of them. You can check references on dizpins.com if that helps

I made a trade in Feb for a Colorado pin and trade a NYPD pin. Reference was down at that time. I still haven't recieved my pin. I keep e-mailing they respond and hope my pin will come in soon.
It's the first time.

Just once. I was trading those darn state pins like crazy, and of course I wasn't checking references on everyone. Well, I traded with a lady and never received my pin. When I tried to contact her via email, her email address didn't work anymore. Then I posted on the boards looking for her, and did not find her, but found two other people who traded with her and never received their pin either. Well, I guess one bad one and a 100 good ones isn't too bad of a ratio.
It also happened to me once that I sent someone several pins and they never showed up. MIA at the post office.

I have never been on the non recieving end but am currently on the "I sent but haven't shown up yet " end.
Being new territory for me I guess all I can do after a decent time lapse is offer another pin or to send their original trade back.
BTW both where going overseas so I am not even sure on time frame - any suggestions?

I am in a similar boat with Tiggersmom. I sent a CT out and it was not recieved. Being right before X-mas when I was trying to catch up on my trades, wrapping presents and getting ready for my trip to WDW I thought I might have missed it and sent another in February That still has not got there. I have not talked to this person in about a week and if it still is not there I am going to send back their trade.

I ordered the DL Trash Can Pins off of ebay and sent the money order.....after 3 weeks the seller tried to trace them and they were never signed for. Thankfully she had insured them and although it did take well over a month she was able to refund my money and I was able to re-buy the set. I always insure every pin I send just in case. It costs like 50 cents I think and its better safe than sorry!! If the seller hadn't insured those I could have been out right at $100 dollars.

Yes!!! I did a trade that seemed too good to be true a few months ago, and I'm still waiting for my pins. I don't get any replies to my e-mails, and I've lost one of my favourite pins.
Is there anything I can do about this, apart from putting it down to experience?
