wilderness lodge jr. suite question

Has anyone stayed in the Parlor/Jr. suite @ WL? Can you see the water Pagent from the balcony? What kind of rate did you get. We are thinking of staying there a few nights but don't really want to pay $405.00 a night. I was told no DC discount for these rooms. Has anyone had any luck with codes or any other type of offer that might bring down the price a little.

We paid $325 back in 1997 without a discount. I have never heard of anyone getting a discount on a Jr. Suite at WL. That doesn't mean there aren't any but suspect there isn't.
You can see the Electrical well pagent from about half the Jr. Suites. The other half are back behind some trees so you might get little bits of it here and there or none at all.
We really enjoyed our time in this room. It was fun and cofortable and though not huges (500 square feet I have heard) it is layed out nicely with plenty of windows and space for quiet time.

Daannzzz, thanks for the info. I guess I'm still undecided about renting one of the jr. suites. Maybe if any good useable codes are to come out I'll give them a try.
