More questions on dressing for dinner!!??!!

Leaving in 12 days to head to FL for our cruise on the Wonder in 13 days :-)

I'm starting to get our things together and I'm hesitating at what to pack for Tritons.

Are jackets and ties really the norm?? Could DH just wear some black slacks and a dress shirt with a tie?? I REALLY do not want to lug his suit down .... if we were doing Palo's .. it would be different.

Biggest problem is that I do not have a garment bag ..... yikes!

Anyway ... can I leave the suit at home??

We were on the 4 day in February. My DH did wear a jacket and tie, though there weren't too many others that did. Most either had on a dress shirt and tie, or jacket with no tie. Any of these combinations looked great, so bring whatever he is most comfortable in! There were also people there that did not dress up at all, even a few in shorts, but these people were definitely the exception.

I agree. I went on the three day (three times) and I never wore a suit, or a jacket and tie at the same time. I wore a dress shirt with a jacket on one occasion and a dress shirt with a tie on another. You can leave the suit at home.

I'd go with khaki pants, an open-collared golf shirt, and a sportcoat.
