I was in class today and couldnt help thinking of bob as my teacher said "resourcers" instead of resources. One simple slip of the tongue send my mind reeling...needless to say i didnt pay much attention for a while after that.:rolleyes1

thats how I felt when i went back to read the podcast blog. Bobs entries are bitter sweet.

I know exactly what you all mean. I don't know that I've ever been so affected by a death of someone I never met personally. But with each memory that comes, I am reminded of all the things Pete said about Bawb in his eulogy and I recommit to living my own life with the same kind of unbridled kindness and openness. I am positive that all Disers are doing the same thing in his honor - what a testimony to the difference one life can make.

So say we all.

I had a "Bawb" moment yesterday. I'm in sales and every Thursday morning we have a staff meeting. Yesterday, the conversation turned to the best ways to find out who the decision maker is at a business. Everyone was coming up with the all these complicated plans.

I listened for a bit and then it was my turn. My response..."What the heck, just ask - They can't hit ya'" Everyone just looked at me because as soon as I said it, I realized it was a "Bawbism" and I busted out laughing. I'm telling you, that man was full of wisdom that we often took for granted. Now, that's my new mantra. "Just ask - They can't hit ya'!"
